I needed something lighter than even a ventilated jacket. At 110 degrees, I was soaked in sweat and my tshirt stuck to me without air movement, making riding just not worth it. I just couldn't bring myself to ride "naked". It is just too risky around here, and I've seen what happens when someone throws caution to the wind. Skin graphs aren't cheap and certainly not something one wants to do.This stretches comfortably over or under other clothes without looking completely ridiculous. Although, I do look like a TMNT with my hard shell backpack and the armor! 😂The zipper is the weakest link in an otherwise perfect piece of inexpensive riding gear. (Actually it is my cheapest item, even my gloves cost more). It certainly isn't designed to take a hit going 90, but hitting the asphalt at less than HWY speeds, I think you'll be surprised how well it protects. Without a doubt, better than riding naked and nearly just as comfortable.

Great light jacket for the hot days, have all the paddings on it . it is true to size -some complaint about the ziper but i had have no issues in few months using it. u just have to make sure the ziper is straight before pulling up

The jacket is well designed. The armor isn't too bulky. It looks good. The price is right. They do run small though. I am usually a large. I bought an extra large. I think an XXL will be a better fit. The large works but it fits like a slim fit suit. I am more of a regular fit kind of guy.

Nice protective shirt but, only three stars because of the pads on it. They are SO heavy, I replaced them with other pads with the same ce rating. I don’t know what they are made of, but they can’t be used comfortably because, they all sag from the weight. So much so the back piece would pull down so hard that it would make the collar super tight around my throat.

The summers are getting way to hot and I needed something I could wear for protection but was cool. I took a chance on this and I love it! It is perfect. I normally wear large so I bought the large jacket and it fits great. There is enough room to allow for a shirt under it. Air now flows as I ride but I feel safer then not wearing protection. I do wish it came in another color.

The protection in this did great to help keep my elbows and shoulders safe when I wrecked my bike. Mesh didn't hold up to sliding in the ground but that's to be expected

Feels cheap and pads might fit better if you are a small non muscular build. Zipper and fabric feel cheap as well.That being said..it fits, it's cheap and for offroad use speeds under 40 ish. I feel it will help and better than nothing. Love it stretches a little for my beer gut!

I bought this shirt for my boyfriend. He really likes it. It fits well and seems to be well constructed. He was looking for something he could wear under his unarmored leather jacket. This fits the bill. It is light enough that he can wear it under his jacket without restricting his freedom of movement. I'm sure it will also work well for him to use standalone next summer. Would definitely buy this again.

Good to wear under thin jacket or jumpers.

$77. CAD is as cheap as it gets for armoured suits in this range. I bought this jacket for riding an over powered ebike on trails. This suit does the trick providing good protection for this level of riding. It goes on fast-- I especially like that it is a front zip up and not an over the head pull over. The pads retain their position and the garment was designed for 'cool' air flowing movement. This suit fits snug and is meant to hug and contour your body... so if you're over weight it looks bad.

Ok, I don't care that I look like a cut-price extra from a Village People video...IT KEEPS ME SAFE AND COOL IN AUSTRALIAN HEAT!!!so looks be damned.

This armored shirt is great for when you have to ride in 30+ weather!!! You get a lot of air in your torso area while riding. It just feels a lot safer than just riding in a t-shirt when you can use a proper riding jacket. I've been using it along with a vest, works great! Recommended product. Also, the price is right. Only complaint I have is that mine had a little rip in the pocket for the back protector (on the inside of the shirt). Likely caused from when zipper was done up to put in the bag. Not a big deal a long as it doesn't get bigger.
