I write this review not just to comment on the product but also to warn new owners to open the box right side up.I made the mistake of opening the box upside down (Amazon had put the mailing label in the wrong direction), and as a result couldn't locate certain key parts, notably the remote and the four screws needed to secure the base to the fan.I contacted Amazon to see how I could get replacement parts, and they actually arranged for a replacement fan to be sent.Fortunately, I realized that I had not checked under the cardboard packaging at the "real" top of the box, and lo and behold, there were the "missing" parts, so I canceled the fan replacement.As others have noted, this tower fan wobbles as it works, but I suspect Vornado may have built in some wobble to protect the oscillator bearings from harm when people or pets inevitably bump into the fan.Otherwise, the fan puts out a lot of air very quietly, oscillates as advertised, and looks cool doing it all.The fact is, in my experience, Vornado fans cost a little more than some other brands, but they look and work better, offering more years of service.So this tower fan is a welcome addition to my studio apartment in what looks like a hot summer, and I give it two well-cooled thumbs up...

Very powerful fan it blows cold air and cooled down my living room. I don’t like AC so this is my next best option. And it works great. I love it.The noise level is a little loud if you’re using it on high, but I don’t mind it. It blocks out the noise from outside. Easy to use it has the power button, the circular button, the speed button and the time button, and it comes to a remote control

I was surprised that this fan was different from other fans. The design really disperses the air all around, not just a direct "wind" towards you, even without oscillating. Really like the air movement from all sides of the room. The only downside of this fan is that you have to go through all the speeds to turn it down to a lower speed. I called the company to see if I was missing something, and the representative told me that it was designed that way.

I love this thing. It's big and moves a lot of air really well. It is a little pricey but after receiving it, I think it's well worth the purchase. I use it every night and on warm days it's my number one go to, to get air moving through the house.

I have a Vornado tabletop Pivot 6, this thing is super powerful… so when I wanted a tower fan for my room, of course I looked to Vornado again. First of all, this thing is massive, and even sitting literally 5ft in front of it on the highest setting, it was like a barely gentle breeze. For $100+, absolutely not. Returning as this thing has zero power.

Good fan but missing screws. Had to use other screws to assemble. The remote control was missing a battery had an extra. Not a problem. The fan has good speeds. It is fairly cool. Doesn't use much electricity. So overall a good purchase

Absolutely love this fan. It is the perfect size and height to have next to the bed for sleeping. It is not too loud and the oscillating feature is a nice bonus. This is the second fan I bought bought one for my daughter because when she stayed at our house, she loved it. I would buy this van again.
