Westinghouse Lighting 7234220 Xavier II 52-Inch Five-Blade Indoor Ceiling Fan with Three Spot Lights, Brushed Nickel with Gun Metal Accents

This is a beautiful fan! It's modern, yet very classy in my master bedroom. I'm a bit strange and kinda like a noisy fan for the white noise, but this fan is whisper quiet. It doesn't push out quite as much air as I thought it would, but that could be because of the size of my master bedroom (16' x 13'). My husband thinks it blows out more than enough air, so it's just a matter of personal preference. I just love the way this fan looks in my bedroom. The accents match my decor beautifully. I don't use the lights on the fan too much because I have lamps that I use in my bedroom instead, however, I do like how I can point the lights in different directions (on a piece of art, on the bed headboard, etc). I searched high and low and this was the best looking fan for the price. Very happy with my purchase! I just purchased a second one for my daughter's room. It blows more than enough air in her room (12'x10'). In the winter, the low setting is enough to circulate the air to keep her room comfortable. I put it on the second highest setting when the temperatures start to get warmer and that's more than enough to keep her cool. It's a great fan for the price! You will not be disappointed!

Just installed it today. Cannot comment on longevity but the fan is just what I wanted. It has pull chains which is what I wanted. It was installed in a newly built house so I had the extra wire and a fan worthy box already installed and it is on a nine foot flat ceiling so no need for a remote that needs batteries and is subject to loss. It is for a bedroom that is being used for an office so I wanted a lot of light and the option of pointing that light where I needed it most. I had a fan similar to this in my last house and I knew I would not want the halogens that came with it. They get too hot and burn out after a month or two. I ordered 5 watt 5000k daylight 90 deg. angle GU-10 led's that work great and put out enough light to illuminate the whole room which is 12 x 13. After opening the box and checking the contents, the install took 2 hours (wiring and box already present). The instructions were clear and accurate. Follow them and you should have no problems. All parts were there. The fan runs smooth/balanced and quiet even at high speed. I used the gray side of the fan blades to match my room. Overall if this is your style of fan, it is a great choice.

This is one absolutely nice looking ceiling fan, very quiet and easy to install. We were searching for a ceiling fan with halogen spot lights, there are not many out there we can tell. Glad we found this one. The three halogen spot lights are giving a wonderful nice and cozy light. We installed a Lutron Wall Fan Control and Dimmer Kit and it is working perfectly together, can dim the halogen and there are seven speed settings for the fan now.One reviewer posted about engineering issues, we can confirm the one with the rubber ring that goes around the top cap but is was an easy fix, we just used a drop of Joy dish soap and everything was good and working fine.

UPDATE 4/18/2018This fan lasted ALMOST 3 years since professionally installed. The lights work but the fan part gave out. One day I tried to turn it on again and you could hear the motor trying to spin the blades and the blades moved like a centimeter every few seconds (SLOW). I was hoping it was just our house since they each have a different switch. It’s toast and needs replaced. Our hunter fans in the bedrooms that were also professionally installed are still going strong. I hope the new fan I end up replacing it with lasts longer than this one did.I bought this fan almost 2 years ago and had it installed by an electrician. Overall it is a fairly decent fan. Mine has had an issue with humming since we got it (comes and goes). Also the Black part of the blades are poorly done (discolored stripes). It's not that noticeable since my fan is on a majority of the time. The actual lights are absolutely blinding if you look at them. But when it comes to evenly lightening an entire room.. I can see how some would have had issues. I feel like it lights up my living room perfectly though! I have a vaulted ceiling so I'm not sure if that and size make a difference. My living room size 18' x 14'.

Quiet.Powerful.Easy to install.Lights are bright and perfect for accenting. I was unsure *how* adjustable (directionally) the lights were but was happy to see that they're fully adjustable.Solid build. Nothing feels cheap on it aside from the medallions that they supply to attach to the pull chains. You don't need to use them though.If I ever move, this sucker is coming with me.Only con is that the lights do give off noticeable heat but this can easily be remedied with LED bulbs.

The media could not be loaded. The first one I bought had a rattling in it. I had to take it apart to find out what it was to no avail. I returned the first one and I hope the second one will be better. It is a great looking fan and well constructed, but whatever was rattling in the main motor caused me concern. They are sending a replacement. I will follow up this review with an update.Update: 11/30/17 Amazon graciously replaced the fan at not charge to me. Returned the defective one as mention above. Moved my star rating to a 4/5 for that. Fan installed perfectly. No more rattle. Manual could be better in showing flush mount vs. pole mount. They can contact me for more info on that. Some items in the manual is out of sequence. But, great fan. Bright light. Well constructed. Suggestion to those who install this great fan: Cover all vents on top of base unit to prevent any screws from falling into fan base. It almost happened in this install but I caught it in time. the vests have a fine mesh-like material to prevent dust etc., from entering the unit. Cover the vents with painter's tape as to not soil the nice polished finish.
