Amazon Essentials Italian Sterling Silver Lotus Flower Locket Necklace, (previously Amazon Collection)

This is a lovely locket, big enough to hold some nice photos, but not too large. The Lotus flower design is intricate and attractive, and symbolic since it hides photos of the unfolding life inside. The locket is easy to add photos to. Just snap out the glass in the inside frame and use it as a template for your photo. I used a safety pin, a paper clip or some such would work as well, just take care not to scratch the glass. Cut the photo and the glass snaps right back into place. Very simple design. I got the red for my wife, and it looks great. Also available in blue and purple.The only weakness is the chain, which my wife feels is too thin and fragile for the locket, so we will be getting a new chain for it. The chain also might be a little short for viewing the photos while wearing the locket, maybe. Overall a very nice product.

My husband looked everywhere for a locket that I'd want to wear always. He knows I favor silver, that cobalt blue is my favorite color, and that I love delicate things. But everywhere he looked he couldn't find anything that he knew would really suit me. He searched through literally hundreds of lockets until he found this one. My squeal of delight on Christmas morning gave him all the reassurance he could possibly need...I am in love with it. I've already taken and order miniature prints of us & our puppies to go inside it. It's exquisitely made, and looks so much more expensive in person than it was. It's special enough to wear for a really nice occasion, but casual enough to wear every day.

A great locket. Not too big, not too small, great silver quality, shine, well made, extremely satisfied. Loses a star for the chain being extremely thin and flimsy. The chain IS stirling silver, but it is VERY thin and flimsy. Also, the two clear plates that go over the pictures inside are plastic, and scratch easily. Expected glass. Came in a nice black box. Overall very good, 4/5.

I wanted an unusual locket to honor the memory of my beloved kitty who passed suddenly at the age of 17. I looked at the lockets specifically designed for cremains, but just didn't see anything quite appropriate for my heart. I looked for a conventional Sterling silver locket and found this beautiful lotus. It's perfect and somehow has helped my grieving process. I receive compliments all the time, as it is unusual and beautiful. I added a longer chain; the one that came with the locket was shorter than l like. I wear it every day. I haven't added cremains or a photo yet. If l do add cremains, the locket will be glued shut.

Necklace arrived and the chain was in a knot. After 15 minutes, I was still unable to get the knot out. The chain is very cheap! Not happy because I have to buy a new chain to use with the locket. The locket is pretty but difficult to open. If it weren't for my daughter really wanting the necklace, I would send it back. Definitely not worth the money!

I bought this locket for a friend's "something blue" wedding item. She absolutely loved it and I was very pleased with the quality. The clasp allows easy access to the inside of the locket but it is still secure. The size is just right- not too small for pictures but also not garish. I love the intricate lotus design on the front, which holds a lot of beautiful symbolism. I would definitely purchase this item again.

I purchased this for our wedding anniversary to give to my wife. I used Picassa to size some pictures and, after a little trial and error, printed them at the local drug store, one of her and me, and one of our baby boy. The locket looks great in person. Some review said it feels or looks cheap, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. It seems well done, and I think it will last a long time. The lotus flower design on the front is elegant, and the red background makes it stand out nicely.

This locket's red background provides a nice contrast and very attractive look. The locket is well constructed, with a solid closed feel. The necklace is not substantial, but so far it's held up with no problem.It was a gift for my wife, and she was pleased. I think it looks great.
