This arrived 30 minutes ago, and I already love, love, love it!! I would recommend that it be aired out if you are sensitive to smells, as it arrived with a bit of a smell that I cannot quite place. Otherwise, it was quick and easy to install. We live in a state that does not require A/C in homes (apartments or otherwise), and the sun shines directly through our sliding glass door for 6+ hours a day and causes our home to stay really warm even with blackout curtains in place and a window A/C unit running. Our home temperature improved significantly within minutes of installing on the sliding door.I ordered a 2 pack, and it covered the door perfectly. The quality is strong and thick, it is soft and the color really seems to help in keeping to room atmosphere cool and light. It came with extra suction cups and looks like it would be very easy to wash. I would absolutely buy again if there was ever a need. I am so impressed by this product and so satisfied even in just having it up for a little while. Our home is now about 10 degrees cooler (30 minutes with it up) and the sun is still shinning strong and hot. It is almost 100* here and our home is actually in the 70s for the first time this week! I rarely leave reviews, but I was really impressed with these black out shades. These were great. We had our grandson for a week, he sleeps in an extremely dark room. We put these in 4 large windows. They were easy to install. They stayed up great. Not a single suction cup came loose. They really blocked the light. They also blocked noise. I got them for a great price and they were worth every penny. The color was a dull white that looked fine behind my white shutters. We have temporarily put them in our bedroom because it is 4th of July and they will help block out the noise of all the fireworks.

My bedroom had become frustratingly bright, even at night with my regular shades, and uncomfortably hot during the day. Hoping to finally tackle both issues, I decided to try this out. Setting this curtain up is straightforward and quick. The suction cups hold to the window, and while they do the job, you might need to do a bit of tinkering with the velcro sides to get the right fit depending on your window's exact dimensions.For darkness, this curtain is an absolute game-changer for sleep. It blocks out light incredibly well, transforming the room into a truly dark space, which has made a significant difference for my sleep quality, even with ambient light outside.In terms of heat, I honestly haven't noticed a significant difference during the day. While it helps with light, it doesn't seem to make the room noticeably cooler.My one major point of concern is the strong odor right out of the box. It has a very distinct, plasticky smell that was quite noticeable. I definitely recommend unboxing it and letting it air out for a while before putting it up.Despite the initial smell, which does dissipate, this blackout curtain is excellent for creating darkness. It met my needs and does what you expect for its price. Easy to set up and easy to take down and move around. Overall, I recommend this, just be prepared to air it out first.

There are absolutely amazing. They’re so easy to put up and can be modified to fit a wide variety of window sizes and shapes. We can literally get them up in less than five minutes. The pattern is still fun for kids but definitely blocks light. I love the carrying case too! They’re pretty thick which also helps with temperature control for drafty windows. However because they’re thick they are quite heavy which might make packing them for air travel challenging. Completely worth the money.

These are DARK! The suction cups hold well and I like that we can use just one on my kiddo's room window and keep the other for trips on hand.

This was perfect for our family beach vacation. It worked great, suction was strong and it almost covered the entire sliding glass door in our room. Perfect for blocking out the morning sun shining right into the window. Very thick blackout material. Glad I didn’t spend $$$$ on the name brand one, this thing does the job perfectly and half the price!

Can’t seem to get the suctions to stick long term. They come off every so often. It does help block a fair amount of light being that my window was between sizes listed for sale.
