It doesn’t work with the badlands winch without drilling more holes .. it’s time to make it work for those from the factory..

Installing a winch on an atv is no easy job but KFI delivered a perfect fit which made the complete install easier

I hate writing bad reviews but the only thing that worked right was the mounting holes where in mounts to the frame. If you are installing a badlands winch be prepared to drill extra holes because nothing lined up. I’ve been a fabricator for 25+ years so I’m no stranger to making things work. I even had to weld the roller plate on the front because the holes weren’t even close. I though about sending it back but since they ship fed ex I had to wait long enough for it and I had the atv tore apart getting wires run and switch installed so when the plate came in I could just throw it on and go. It you have a 2010 Polaris sportsman 500 and are using a 2500 badlands winch I do not recommend unless you want to put in the extra work. I’m fortunate enough to have a fab shop at home so I’m lucky.

Very high quality winch mount. Perfect fit, no drilling or fabrication required. All necessary hardware included. Clear and concise instructions, made the winch mounting process simple. Even with a cheap “off brand” winch.

Works great. Easy to install. Great directions that are eastmy to fallow.

Winch holes bolted up just fine to the winch itself, but the roller fairlead bolts were too big for mounting bracket and had to drill out to get to fit. Also front storage box hits and top of mounting bracket and will not go back into original position no matter how you position it. Was able to get storage box back on, but had just about stand on it to get front bolts back in it. Now the front storage box sits up higher than front grill and closes funny. I used this product on a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 700EFI. Guess for the money, it works, but then again, you almost always get what you pay for. Hope this helps.

Fit perfect on 2010 Polaris sportsman ho

Fit my Cycle Country PowerMax 2500# winch and 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. Had it installed about a month now and haven't had any issues with the install, and the instructions were perfect fit for my year/make/model of atv. It does add some weight to the front end so I would recommend getting HD springs if used in conjunction with a plow.
