Google Nest system is the way to go!
I canāt speak highly enough on these cameras. We use the whole google system on the house. Love how everything works through the app.The camera picture quality is great. Capture of people on camera works excellent. We have the battery operated ones that need charged. We have to charge them about every 3 weeks depending how much the camera is recording. Ed also use the cameras at our cabin and they stay charged for about a month or longer as there is very little activity happening.

Continued customer
I have been utilizing Google cameras since before google bought nest. These have the same great quality i have come to know and expect from the google nest series. Easy to install and set up, and the service fee isn't too bad when you think what commerical companies would charge.

Image quality is excellent. Battery lasts around 6 weeks. If you live in a cold weather environment the battery will drain rapidly. I live in NC and just came through a Southern Winter and there were several times the battery drained quickly on me.

What a great product! The sale price was an added perk! These cameras have amazing range and are so clear the recording is like being there in person! Highly recommend!

battery life is just horrible
after years of having a great experience with the older Nest products, although their wired versions does not withstand (power cable) UV light and will ultimately fail to work, but still a great camera. I reached out to Google about this and basically told me to buy the newer wireless cams as the warranty was expired - i would have expected a bit more from google as this is clearly a design/material fault. For the newer version, the battery life is just terrible, i am have to charge these cameras every 2-3 weeks depending on activity, its just a major hassle, especially when out of town. The transition from the nest app to the home app is also troublesome, i have older and newer versions of Nest and have to manage them on 2 different apps. Not Great - Conclusion, nest started out great, i was a big fan, but now i feel they dropped the ball on multiple fronts - I spent a lot of money on Nest for home and business, and decided its time to move on to another product with better features and less hassle, and no monthly fees.

They work
I donāt know about the complaints but these work fine for me. No issues at all. Love that I can check my home when I want.

Good about 60% of the time No updates No upgrades just crica 2019 software
Gig up and down, plenty of bandwidth etc. Might as well have NASA internet.Google is abandoning this ecosystem. They don't release fixes, or updates at all. Nothing meaning has been added, they have an Advanced AI that can't even bring up a date and time for me to view. After the nest acquisition, Google is clearly milking this system. The hardware is great, doesn't seem to mind being exposed to incremental weather. All of mine are hardwired. However it's literally the software that's an issue. I've had Home and Nest Cameras for three+ years. No meaningful upgrades to the software has been done, the scrubbing feature is horrible and unresponsive, sometimes the cameras just loose the ability to show me an event, even when hardwired and having plenty of bandwidth and signal.Overall this could be an absolute home run for simple, easy home security. But Google is too busy raking in the profits to be even a little bit concerned with the consumer and their "long term" use. After 6 months I was living with "normal" issues like above, and it's been three years. This is my 2nd set, because I sold the first set to a roommate when I moved out. This usually wouldn't be something I committed to actually reviewing, but I'm about $1500+ into everything not including my labor. So I suggest you find a alternative that gives a crap about the consumer.. Because Google clearly does not.
