Dyson CY26 Cinetic Big Ball Animal 2 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner, Red, Large

My dyson only arrived a few days ago. I am very impressed with the power. I was usually getting cheaper hovers but they didn’t last long. I’ve got different types of rugs at home and a hard floor as well and it works absolutely fine. It pick up every single fluff and bits from the floor. Dyson looks so modern but there are two things that concern me.Lots of plastic connectors- it gives you impression that it won’t last long.And second thing is that the wheels at the bottom are to little. When hovering is not possible to push the hover backwards, very hard to manoeuvre.Otherwise very pleased with the purchase.

best vacuum ever. Powerful, no filter and everything works so well. Excellent engineering.Particularly love the new way to empty the dust out.

This is my second dyson - first still going. Bought this for holiday home no carpets - hard floors. Suction appears to be good. Don’t know about picking up hair. Decent selection of tools for skirting and high places. Dyson are expensive but last.

Very good having spent 500 on one of the new slim line ones which was a nightmare bought this one in desperation and it is like the old animal dyson that I had for ten years .Sucks up all the dirt and hair ,having a little trouble with emptying but working well .

Shame its all flimsy plastic, and the main head for floor use is not much good at all.(the pet fur brush is so small it takes ages to do a room as the other head wont pick it up very well.) The bend part on the handle has pinched my arm when using the attachments on the handle part.The attachements are wobbly when attached to the full length of the pipe, and for the money this isn't good. The wheels dont move and you end up dragging it more than wheeling it, and i'm not sure how long this is going to last before something breaks on it. All in all in picks up quite well and the attachments that are to be attached to the long pipe, ( holds2 attachemnts only) get in way. I think the whole thing could have been better thought out and maybe used metal rather than plastic for the most part, especially the long pipe as it does not give a firm base for the attachments to be fitted to this appliance at all and they are wobbly and weak. Very expensive for what it is, and think Dyson need to stop making so many of the same thing under ( "New)t vacs, because basically they aren't getting any better, just variations of the same thing over and over and all in plastic! I wouldn't recommend to people with many pets as the animals brush is tiny, and seems to be the only brush made for this thing to be a ANIMAL! model. Not impressed with any of the attachments, as the crevice tool has a small brush that slides down the crevice brush and the brush has barely any bristles on it! The animals brush is air powered and so it loose some suction of the vac when used, the tools need a rethink, as they are just poor. Maybe they need people to test these things who use them in real life and have lots of pets and and lots of needs that most vacuums just dont meet. Sadly Dyson has few competitors in the market and i think i have bought most of them out there and Dyson is the most powerful and has a decent 5yr guarantee which i think only they do so i end up buying their products because of this. I chose this particular model as the newest one had so many negative comments on the reviews about it, and also this model doen't need to have filters washed so that was a plus. The bin on it isnt huge but bigger than the new model, and it will need emptying a few times if you have pets. Its quite heavy, and it doesnt fit on the stairs so you have to carry it up as you vacuum. The hose wouldnt stretch enough to leave at the bottom of the stairs, but the electric lead is a reasonable length to reach the top.

Easy to use. You can point and vacuum high and low. Great simple drop down brush for cleaning fabric or more delicate surfaces.Easily emptied. A little tricky to replace the cylinder after emptying but getting used to doing so.

We like the syson very much. It’s easy to handle and very powerful. Cleans very well carpets and floors. Very easy to clean. My boys are taking turns too clean the house couse they like it.

Small and light which is what I needed, but find that it struggles to cope with the dog hair. It seems to roll it up into clumps on top of the carpet which then need picking up with the hose. Works well on uncarpeted floors.Takes a while to get used to how to empty the bin and attach and unattach the tools. Not as good or as easy to handle as my old 08 which I had to abandon as the tools are totally worn out and replacements are no longer available.
