Works better than I expected, but is subject to a common issue- which you can fix.
Nice machine, easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to store, plenty of power. I have only two experiences with it so far, and one important observation. Machines like this do not use a screw auger to move the snow, it uses what amounts to a paddle to slap the snow up the chute. The machine removed the snow neatly to the ground, but snow quickly clogged the chute- sticking to the sides and had to be manually cleared every few feet. No doubt the combination of temperature and the snow type would affect this considerably, but we can't control what nature decides to drop on us. Sometimes powder, sometimes heavy and sticky. That's the kind that stuck.Solution- Dupont makes an aerosol spray called Snow and Ice Repellant, also available on Amazon. Dramatically reduces the problem. Of course that problem would occur with al the snow throwers of this style, kind of a universal issue. I think overall, the Wen product is probably the best buy in it's class, and Wen is a respected name for service.

It’s a great machine if you know it’s intended use!
If you know the limitations of this machine, you won’t be disappointed. It’s not made for long driveways, it’s not made to power through the deepest, heaviest snow without any effort…it’s made for small jobs. I live next to my in-laws and we both have long driveways. We use a plow truck for the majority of our work. I used this little Wen today to clear areas in front of our garages, doors, and to make small pathways so my father-in-law can get from his house to his second garage. We had a foot of the mid to lighter snow and this thing was a pleasure to use. I’m sure it would be a little tough to use in the wet heavy snow, but if you take little bites and go slow, I’m sure it would do the job. It beats shoveling!! If you have an outlet, a nice heavy duty extension cord, this is a very nice machine. It’s cheap and if it lasts 2-3 years, I would consider it be an outstanding buy. If it lasts 1 year, I would still say that I’m happy with it because it beats shoveling…what can you buy for under 150.00 these days?? I would certainly say that it works just as good as a small 2-stroke Ariens or Toro gas blower and you don’t have to worry about trying to start it after sitting all summer. I had one of these small gas blowers. After this Wen, I don’t miss it one bit.

Good but flawed.
It does what it’s supposed to do and is good for the money. However, the cord drives me insane. Trying to use this thing and keep the cord out of the way is a nightmare. The cord also come unplugged no matter what, I had to tape it to keep it from disconnecting. Even if you tie it in a knot, it still pulls apart. It is faster for me to shovel by hand because messing with the cord takes up so much time. I will be selling this and buying a gas powered one like all my neighbors. Besides the cord issues the machine runs great!

Chute will break if rock hits it.
Pretty happy with this all things considered. I would absolutely pay an extra $20-30 for the rotary blade and chute to be made out if metal. However, a cheaper solution to either the manufacturer or you the customer is to buy a large sticky foam pad and add it underneath the chute so if it picks up a rock it won't destroy the chute... hopefully. I just went ahead and super glued it back together and seems to be holding up ok. This machined saved my back and time but I'm expecting to have to buy a new one in the future due to using plastic for impact points.Edit: WEN was able to send me out a new chute free of charge through warranty. Thank you!

No regular extension cord fits this pkud
70 year old lady was able to put together easily, and ordered the 12 gauge extension cord and adapter in recommended in manual, but there is no way a regular US cord can plug into this. Ridiculous!! Return is a nightmare. On the phone with Amazon for over 2 hours before they agreed to have UPS come pick this up. This disassembling the whole thing and trying to wrestle this back into box.

Year two, still working great!
This snowblower has done a fantastic job of helping me efficiently clear my driveway throughout winter. It gets used 5-10 per season and is on year two, still working well. I don't mind dealing with the cord and the lack of any sort of gas smell/odor is well worth it to me. It is strong enough to clear slushier/icy snow that is left from the plow at the end of the driveway (assuming I get to it promptly).

Amazing Snow Blower – Cleared 3 Inches with Ease!
I used this snow blower for the first time today with about 3 inches of snow, and I am beyond impressed! It started up easily and powered through the snow effortlessly, leaving my driveway and sidewalks perfectly clear. The build quality feels solid, and the operation is smooth and easy to handle. It threw the snow far, making cleanup quick and efficient.
