instructions could be better
So far so good. I haven't put many miles on the truck sense I install the 3.5" lift that is why I didn't rate any higher

Just enough lift
Perfect height for people that still wanna park in the garage. Wheels are 20x10-24, tires are 33.2"x12.5". Slight rub at full lock both ways. Retains oem ride quality. 2018 Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 stamped steel control arms.

Bad Engineering
Lets start with the knuckles - Rough Country went through the trouble of forging knuckles for the lift kit but neglected to account for the change in upper control arm angle. Rough Country's solution is to have you cut the upper control arm stop off of the truck - genius! Other knuckle kits I have installed have elongate the distance between upper and lower ball joints in order to correct the angle.2nd, the kit drops the front axle about an inch with the included spacers. Once you get past the fact you have to trim cooling fins off the differential housing and cut a notch in the existing cross member to account for the drop, take a look at what Rough Country gives you for a replacement skid plate. I guess they don't consider your steering a vital component. OEM skid plate won't bolt up after the axle drop. Yes there are always ways to work around this and use the OEM plate but that isn't what we're paying for, is it?3rd, if any of the above means anything to you then you will also be disappointed in the fact the Rough Country tells you how to take everything apart but doesn't include specific torque specs to put things back together - that's just plain lazy. Now I'm looking at probably paying over $100 to return and restock this thing where there is no fault of mine for having to return it. In my mind if it would have been properly designed then I would be bolting it up.Truly disappointed in Rough Country.2018 Silverado 4x4 1500I'm not a mechanic nor do I work in a shop, just a do it yourself kind of guy.Hope this helps someone.

This company is a scam, I ordered a lift kit for a 2014 Silverado and the front knuckle didn’t fit , I’ve paid 600$ in labour and 70$ to ship it back , they said that the return was damaged and pieces were missing, they are still under investigation, I’m still waiting for my money
