I bought this for my open kitchen cabinet to show my heart china that I received as a present. It looks really nice.

I used this for antique luncheon plated and saucers. Makes a nice display.

I purchased this to display my Lenox dishes in my china cabinet and it fit the bill perfectly! It securely holds 4 plates and the scroll design is so simple yet so gorgeous. I absolutely love this and could not be happier with it. I will likely buy others to use to display pretty dishes I collect on my kitchen counters. I was originally looking at the step style plate holders, but so glad I went with this option instead. The scrolls do get gradually taller from front to back so you are still able to see the beautiful design behind the plates. The color is a nice rustic bronze color which goes perfectly with my home's decor. I would definitely recommend using some furniture pads underneath the legs, as other reviewers suggested, depending on what surface you will be using this on. I did to protect the glass cabinets from becoming scratched. I would absolutely recommend this product!! Love love love it!

I bought two of these to hold family heirloom china dinner plates whose individual diameter is too big to stack flat in my china cabinet. These holders are really great, they look really nice and understated, they fit on the cabinet shelf perfectly, and they hold my plates securely. One shortcoming of this holder is that the edge of each plate is resting against the metal frame with no cushioning, which initially had me worried about the decorative edging and thin sides of the plates. However, this is a really easy and inexpensive fix for Type-A worrywarts like me. The modification that I made (and which I would recommend) involved buying about 18" of rubber or plastic tubing at my local hardware store (for super cheap) and cutting it with into segments with a straight razor or sharp paring knife so that each segment fits the horizontal bar segment between each of the curly vertical parts. Using that same sharp edge, slice one side of each tube segment so that it fits over the horizontal bar segment and provides extra cushioning for the edge of each plate.

This is a well crafted, horizontal rack for storing plates securely in an upright position. As such, it works fine. It also looks good wherever you put it -- full, half-full, or even empty. I'm less impressed with it for display of stoneware or china plates and wish a "stepped" version were available. I do like the other reviewer's suggestion of cushioning the lower rails with rubber or plastic tubing, and this is something I would do if I were storing or displaying fine china. But since I'm displaying chip-resistant Polish stoneware, with my porcelain securely stacked in a cupboard, damaged edges is not something I worry about. Cheaper versions of this kind of product are available, but this is one you won't be embarrassed to set out with other tabletop items you're proud to show off to family and friends.

Simple, practical & cute. An easy & very beautiful solution for dishes. Love it. I have it by the kitchen window. I wish the do something to math it so I would put glasses & bowls!!!
