64oz Low Profile Container with Blade Lid Replacement for Vitamix

A near carbon copy replacement for our Vitamix pitcher, which cracked after I accidentally blended the knife with the peanut butter into the smoothie. DOH! The blade on this pitcher, though, is not as sharp, as in it didn't blend the chia seeds in the smoothie I made recently. I haven't tried making nut flours or nut milk yet, but I imagine it's not going to stand up to the Vitamin standard. In which case, we have the old pitcher on hand to swap out the blade. Worth saving $80

This fits the Vitamix base well. It's durable and easy to clean. It's very close in design to the original. It works well. Obviously not as well as the authentic one but it's good enough for me.

I'm so upset that it lasted only 1 day after refundable deadline. The gear kept slipping and eventually stopped working. Wish I could get a replacement for a product that obviously had some kind of defect.

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t actually used it yet with ingredients because I wasn’t sure if I would keep it. I mainly just needed the lid, so the base is just an added bonus right now. But it is definitely louder than my original container. If I decide to keep it, I will update my review of how it blends.

I spent so much time researching my options for my vitimix blender without needing to spend a fortune home buy a new one. Purchasing a new blade was not as cost friendly as I would have expected, my original 64oz would be clean and regardless of what or how I choose to clean with the clear plastic still appeared pretty gross and dingy looking. When I discovered this came with the container, new blade already assembled and all; it was a hard YES from me. Upon receiving this product I was initially overly impressed with the thickness and durability of the quality when thinking of it being an cost efficient product for starters. Top notch product and zero complaints with regular use, washing, and even dish washer cycles. The fit is great, no issues with any seals and all parts fits perfectly. I am no longer hesitant to make my smoothies in front of friends and family nor reluctant to offer them something due to having a new piece that doesn't look disgusting even with much efforts to improve. This will be my pick for future products and the only brand I choose to recommend across the board in every category.

I needed a larger volume blender for a tube feed diet that my daughter is on that requires 1500 ML and this was perfect…until the handle snapped off. :( Was it just glued?

This was half the cost of the Vitamix pitcher at the time I got it. I have tried it out and had excellent results. As long as it lasts at least half as long as the original, then it will be worthwhile. The pitcher itself is just as sturdy as the one that came with my blender, and the lids are virtually identical. The nut holding the blade and bearings in place is made of metal instead of plastic, and also appears to be good quality. The blade turns smoothly, which is reassuring as the bearings will be the most likely point of eventual failure. This is also true of the original parts, especially since I put a lot of runtime on my Vitamix.I will update this review if the bearings don't last, but so far this replacement shows every sign that it will hold up equal to the original. That will be great because the blender itself just keeps going year after year.
