CORRECTION: FIRE HAZARD!! SEE END OF REVIEW First ill say iv purchased 4 times from Vevor, the first three were excellent with years of use. That being said I tracked the uses on the pump to see how long it would last because i expected failure after a while. Why. because the alternative is $7500 to buy a quality equivalent. So, at $260 it is a bargain, well would be had it lasted more than 5 uses. If it made it a year, I would have been happy, but such is life. What makes this whole thing even worse is the customer service team at Vevor, they want a video of it not working, that fair except I sent it in seven different ways, and they kept responding they didn't get it each time. BY the way 4 of the ways, I sent it was exactly how they suggested i sent it, and each time sorry we didn't receive ot or we can't open it, or the link is not working. I even had our IT guy send it so I know it was right. Well after all that and a few days with no response after sending the video to a different email at their suggestion and having so response they closed the ticket with not even so much as a response to any email or and service request. Too bad really, I mean it because I've talked to countless others about how great the other products I own are. I could live with the inferiority of the product I expected that but what I can't live with is someone wasting my time and wasting my money. In a market like this where there are 1000's of competitor's i can't believe a tool company could be so careless about that customer concerns. To VEVOR don't email me after you read this review iv already gave you a chance to di the right thing. VEVOR IS USING A 10A SWITCH IN w/ a 11.5 A MOTOR, that surges when you use it. IT turns out that the only problem with the pump is the switch which I took off to replace. on the back pf the switch it says 10A and on the motor it says 11.5. But anybody who knows anything about pumps know that when you first power them up they surge. Since there the button on the pump is designed to surge when more pressure is required, they basically built in a fire hazard by using a 10A switch. Thankfully no fire happed on my unit. NOW I'm certain I'll never buy VEVOR again.

Be aware that the valve on the unit acts like two single acting pumps, not a single dual acting. When in the neutral position both output ports open to the reservoir. In order to hold a load up, you must keep the valve in position and shut the pump off.

The first device was pumping oil. Hence, I spent another $80 for hydraulic fittings. I installed it, and checked that it takes good load. At that point I discovered that pressure gauge is not working. This device does not have automated shut-down, hence, without pressure gauge I would damage my cylinders. So, I returned it for a replacement.The replacement (second device) was buzzing, but was not sending oil through.Hence, I requested another replacement. This time I contacted the seller and asked to check the device they would send me. I was assured that the issue would not be repeated.The third device functioned exactly like the second device.There are additional points I want to make:1. I have a PhD in physics.2. Since 2016 I am operating a large tree farm, which includes repairing all kinds of equipment. Regarding hydraulics, at some point I had to disassemble and assemble control valve of backhoo. I could do that successfully but I could not make this particular device to work.3. I had to contact amazon customer service to recover my payment.

ATTENTION: There are NO positive reviews for this product. All the good reviews actually for a Style: AIR Hydraulic Pump and not this electric one. It is absolute garbage. Most of the reviews of the electric are all "bad out of the Box" which is what I got. Didn't pump a drop from the start. Amazon really screwed up on this review posting. Wish I saw it before wasting my time.

Was never able to get this unit to operate.Waited to long before trying it to return on 30 policy. It is supposed to have a 1 year warranty.I reached out to customer service. Absolutely no help. Initially the responded. How ever when the initial remedy did not work the quit responding.

First unit leaked all of the liquid out of the gauge before unboxing. Started using it and it leaked hydraulic fluid from manual valve. They sent another one and it does the exact same thing. Sending one back and throwing the other one in the trash.
