Fits Dewalt D744

Solid replacement riving knife for 7491RS
Conveniently thinner than the factory original. My calipers are showing it at 0.085" where the original is showing 0.0885" and I am using a thin kerf finishing Freud / Diablo blade (1090X at 0.087" kerf) which calls for a thinner riving knife. I was getting just a twinge of drag with the original knife and was planning on sanding a replacement down to the recommended thickness, but looks like I may be able to skip that step for the moment.

This product fits the DW744 with no modification. It sits slight above the saw base when the blade is fully lowered but other than that it is good to go.

Don't let it sit on the dining room table to long.
It looked like it was going to be a perfect replacement for the original. However after opening the bag up I put the knife back into the bag and set it on the table. My wife cleaned the table off during the day while I was away and the amazon bag went into the trash along with my riving knife. So somewhere in the dump is a nice new riving knife.
