Local Source High Temperature Habanero Monterey Jack Cheese for Sausage Making (1 Pound)

Taste great and the heat profile is not too hot. I would rate it slightly above a pepper jack cheese for heat and flavor is comparable to a pepper jack

I used this cheese in some regular snack sticks, and there was no heat in it at all. The habanero was not present anywhere. I was highly disappointed. I have used many high temp cheeses in he past 20 years and this is probably the poorest flavored cheese have tried. the flavor was not good and there was no sign of any peppers in the cheese at all. I will have to find a new place to order my high temp cheese. I had such high hopes but this cheese smashed them. it is making me worried about the flavor of the cheddar cheese that I ordered. I was going to put that in a different snack stick, but if the flavor is as poor as the habanero was I may have to omit it.

Bought this to use in venison summer sausage and it was great. Gives it that extra kick and the flavor blends perfect, not overpowering. Really good cheese, I highly recommend it.

Pay for 5 pounds of habanero high temp cheese only received 2and half pounds and it was supposed to be habanero but it's was only Monterey jack cheese no spice to it at all
