Good product, but why does it have so many features?
Okay, I know I’m being nitpicky. It’s a retractable badge reel, not some space age technology. You know what you’re getting when you buy one, right? But still, why are there so many features? I just wanted something simple to clip onto my pocket and my work badge so I can scan in and access the different doors I have to go through. So why does it also have a belt clip, a plastic loop? Is this an identity crisis?I like the metal carabiner clip, this part is great. But the plastic loop? Meh. My badge is in one of those clear plastic guards and the carabiner works way better. Do people usually use all the attachment options at once? I don't know, maybe I'm the weird one, but I ended up removing the plastic piece with pliers but it's hard to do. Problem solved.That said, I’ve had this little guy for 11 months now and it’s never failed me. No issues, no drama, it just does the job quietly and asks for nothing in return.
