Cashmere Wool Sweater Storage Bag Pouch Set with integrated Cedar Wood

Last year seems to have been "The Year of Cashmere," because I received three cashmere items for Christmas, all spectacular! Of course I want to care for them properly, so I ordered a couple of these bags. I especially liked the idea that each comes with a cedar block. I haven't seen any moths in my clothing, but I have seen the occasional moth hole, so I decided to take precautions. I'm very happy with these storage packs. They are easy to use, they don't take up much space at all (for scarves, for example, you can roll the bag after the scarf is enclosed, which protects the scarf and prevents wrinkles), and they give me piece of mind that my favorite (and irreplaceable) pieces are safe from environmental hazards.

I received these today to put my new cashmere sweaters in since a previous one was eaten by moths. I don’t know if the cedar slab works yet, but the bags sure are well made and elegant. They are obviously a high quality fabric. I can tell by feeling the fabric. They were a decent value. The zippers appear to be sturdy. They are good sized. I could put a heavy sweater or 3 thinner cashmere sweaters in one bag. I’m buying more. No, they don’t smell. My cedar blocks DO smell. My husband is a very experienced woodworker and said they’re still aromatic and if they loose their smell, all I have to do is lightly sand them. I don’t know yet if they’ll keep moths out.

This is a great product to store your cashmere sweaters.

Good quality, well-made, but on the pricey side. One case holds two sweaters. Remains to be seen how well they deter moths.
