Kwikset 788AUL LH 11P Austin Half-Dummy Left-Handed Lever, Venetian Bronze

The product itself is great - high quality and it looks identical to the working levers. I purchased these for one half of an exterior french door that didn't need a latch, but I wanted a matching handle to the other half that did. For that purpose, it worked really well. There are two really small downsides to this, because of the way it connects to the door, there are a few screws that differ from the handles of the same style that are not dummies. It isn't a huge thing, but I really like consistency, so the small difference was noticeable to me. I also just found it a little irritating that I couldn't order the right and left handed dummy levers in a pack for both sides of the door. Again, no biggie but it would be great if this option was available.The look and quality are perfect - if you need a dummy lever, you really can't go wrong with this. It has stood up to a ton of rain and still looks brand new. We will see how it holds up over the winter, but no issues so far after 2-3 months of use.

This was the finishing touch for our hall closet. Looks beautiful.

Don't know if these are on their way to retirement as I couldn't find them anywhere but on Amazon and even then I was limited to three. They were just what I needed to go with the other Kwikset Austin Levers I already had. I love their elegant simplicity and they feel good in your grip.

Had these for 4 months now on our french doors. Installed easily with the provided template and screws. These are sturdy and feel of high quality. Have had many compliments on the look and feel. Couldn't be more pleased, matches all our other antique bronze fixtures.
