Taste great
Even my non gluten free husband loves these. The taste is perfect and just lemony enough without being overwhelming. They’re very easy to make altho I have to remember to have sour cream (or yogurt) on hand.These are the best gluten free cakes I’ve found. Only downside is sometimes it takes awhile to get them.

Brown Specks found in the mix?
Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve bought this brand of mix many times and have NEVER seen these brown specks before now. There were several in one bag and I checked the ingredients to see if anything in there could explain what it might be but didn’t see anything of the sort. I’m very disappointed as these are not cheap mixes and as someone with celiac I shouldn’t have to worry about finding random stuff mixed in to my gluten free mixes that already cost extra.

This is by far the best gluten-free cake mix I've ever had. After 20 years of trying different brands of gluten-free cake mix and being seriously disappointed I was extremely happy with Magnolia Mixes. I will never try any other brand. This is the absolute best!! The pound cake is moist, fine textured and has a wonderful flavor.

While I was making the cake, weird black things were present in the mix. DISGUSTING
