I took a chance on this item mainly due to it having an acceptable return policy if not up to par and Sue's in-depth review.This is a viable option for league bowlers who do not wish to spend $400+ on a different branded spinner. It is also compacted enough to be tucked away in the garage or transported to XYZ location.I agree with pretty much everything Sue had in her review. Unsure if the battery she received was part of the initial offering, a concession by the Seller due to the delayed shipping. I'm thinking the latter... Either way, I'd use this plugged in. The power adapter got warmer than the spinner did.The unit itself weights ~5 lbs. The unit will let you know if you've applied too much lateral pressure as it will either start sliding or ball will move out of the cup. Applying pressure on 'the nose' or even at an angle to take advantage of the length of the main body is preferrable. - As Sue noted.The rubber cup does not like to get wet. The ball loses traction with the cup on occasion.Regarding the body, I do not mind it being 3-d printed. I did notice the 3D layers would collect dust from the balls when sanded. There is a small computer fan to exhaust heat from the motor. Which itself provides a very small volume of extracted air. But after an hour of using the spinner on two bowling balls it didn't seem too overly hot....Although when flipped upside down, touching the metal base was warm enough my brain said to stop touching it after a couple of seconds. LoL.While I expected cross-promotion, the lack of instructions or 'best tips' to use it is disappointing.* A simple 'rule of thumb' of how long to sand at specific grit levels....* Using a 'quadrant' system...* What not to do...* Recommendation to remove grips beforehand.* How long to leave the fan unit running after you are done with it.* Any maintenance needed to the machine itself. - How to prolong the life expectancy of it especially with that **30 day warranty**First ball I tested was an old RotoGrip HyperCell... Quickly learned the quirks before moving on to my go to ball...I'm certain my FIL will be asking to 'borrow' this for his inventory.

I apologize for the lengthy review, but I hope this will be insightful. I was looking for a ball spinner when I saw the Spinster on Amazon. I noticed several red flags:- The only pictures were CAD drawings, not photos of an actual machine- No video showing the spinner working- No reviews- The description lacked detail. For example, it stated it would run 1-2 hours on a charge but not whether batteries were included, or if it was also plug-in. A curious omission they have since corrected.- Advertised delivery within a week.- Claimed speed of 190 rpm, but no motor rating (.25 or .35 hp, etc), or amp rating (for the batteries).My conclusion was this was likely a brand new product and they did not yet have an actual spinner to photograph (or possibly this was a scam). I did not want to spend $400+ on a spinner I would use a few times a month, so I took a flyer on this. My order was initially 'cancelled' by Spinbusters, but then restarted when I agreed to a 2-4 week backorder. The actual delivery took over 6 weeks. Communication was OK, but only after I asked for updates. Expected delivery date was delayed three times (1 week at a time).What was curious was that the product continued to be posted on Amazon as "ready to deliver" in just a week, but the delivery date would periodically move up a few days. This left me with the impression that they thought had spinners coming in or they were just floating me (and everyone else). To SpinBusters credit, when the spinner arrived, they included extras (including the battery, a nice manual ball spinner, and sanding pad holder) to make up for the long delay. Frankly, if they had not done this, this review would have had a much harsher rating, but who doesn't like free stuff? They have since updated some of the information (and the price), but they really should post a video showing someone resurfacing a ball, not just spinning it.Review of the ball spinner. It's adequate. The base is a bit narrow (about 6" by 9" long) but if you apply pressure towards the 'toe' it's fine. I measured the speed at about 160 rpms by counting how many times the thumb hole passed my fingertips in 15 seconds. Still, 160 is not 190, but it is fast enough. The motor will slow if you apply a lot of pressure, but not so much that it is ineffective. It does the job.You need to keep the ball-cup dry and free of polish or ball cleaning fluid; the cup is smooth rubber and only about 3" across. When wet the ball will slip as the cup spins. I like that it is reversible as I am left handed and it would be less comfortable for me if it only spun counterclockwise. The casing is clearly 3D printed which makes me wonder if they are building these at home? It's not smooth like a molded casing, but it appears to be sturdy enough. If asked I would recommend SpinBusters widen the base a bit, and make the cup a little larger; they are adequate but not ideal.I tested the battery, and it works fine. The spinner ran long enough to resurface and polish a couple of balls; about 45 minutes; I did not test how long it will run on just the battery as I typically will use it plugged in, but it's nice to have that flexibility.Conclusion: if you are running a pro shop, this is not for you. However, if you are a frequent bowler with more than a couple of balls, and/or you do a fair amount of ball maintenance/surfacing yourself, it will make the job much faster, more efficient, and easier on your wrists. If you re-surface and/or polish bowling balls yourself, you really should have a spinner to do it properly. I don't use it at the bowling alley for light touch ups, but if I wanted to it fits into a small canvas bag that I got with a battery powered sander I purchased. Overall, I rate this ball spinner as adequate for hardcore hobby and serious bowlers (4 out of 5).

A real picture and/or video would be nice, instead of what looks like a 15 year old CAD drawing.
