Good solder wick, does its job amicably enough. As usual with solder wick it's a little expensive but indespensible for certain jobs.

Useful to have around when soldering & actually lasts longer than I remember when I used to do a lot of small soldering jobs! Good quality, and makes for light work when trying to tidy up/remove components but the design of the reel is a bit rubbish so do expect it to probably fall off and need wound on again!

It arrived and was immediately put to the test. I did not wick up the solder very well. I cut it back and tested again a little better. so thought the first piece out of the spool may be dirty. but it has subsequently not worked so well either. perhaps there is some contaminent on the outer or the copper braid is a little oxidised not sure. I can use it just seems not as perfect as I would have liked. I bought a new solder sucker of here because of it. that works. :)

I am not too sure if it is just my technique and therefore I would have the same trouble with all wicks but I found it was a bit hit or miss whether or not this wicked up solder. I would say it was 50/50. When it worked though it worked well.

I used for desoldering the sound wires from a technics turntable, it worked but I was expecting more. I don't have experience in soldering but I've has seen tonnes of tutorials and I was expecting more "suction​" from the braid. Even tough it was helpful at the end. I might need to keep practising, or use more heat.

it works, this stuff appears to have some form of flux or rosin whatever you call it so picks up solder really easy, used today just wish it came on a bigger roll. only gripe is that i didnt manage to comp-letely clean the contact, but maybe its more to do with my shoddy iron skills!
