I noticed my shower hose had broken the other day. It was a plastic inside hose, with a metal outside, and metal had come loose exposing the plastic liner. Ordered this, and is perfect replacement. It was just the hose that needed replacement, you reuse the shower head and holder. Hose had little plastic caps that unscrew, you unscrew the old hose, screw on the new one. No tools required, hand tight is fine. Total repair time was about 3 minutes. Tried to pry out the caps before realized they were screwed in, next time replacement will be under 90 seconds. New one is nice and shiny, and holds water fine. Perfect, 5 stars.

It’s not easy to find a non-brand Grohe shower hose replacement these days and this is a good product. I compared my old one and the picture on the right is the older hose. Although this replacement’s diameter seems smaller, the flow of the water through the shower after installation seems fine. The hose is nicely flexible and connection between hose and shower unit all fit well and seems to be well made. Highly recommend.
