Dragonfly Mandala 30 oz Stainless Steel Tumbler with lid

I have bought several Tervis tumblers over the years. Initially, they were manufactured with a lifetime warranty. They had to do away with that warranty because likely too many tumblers came back for replacement. The plastic tumblers etch inside within a few months of use, I have one that I only drank water from and even water etched the clear tumbler. I dishwashed them regularly as I recall the instructions stated something to the effect that the tumblers "loved regular dishwasher cleaning". A cup I used for coffee daily became so etched and stained that I sent for replacement. Shortly afterwards I saw that the lifetime warranty was discontinued. I didn't mind the price because of that warranty!When I saw the stainless steel model and it was so pretty, I thought I'd give them another chance. Well, this one needs to be HANDWASHED only, which I saw beforehand and had no problem. If you drink coffee or tea from this tumbler on any kind of a routine basis, it will stain also, so it needs to be SCRUBBED regularly. Caution must be used drinking in the car, because the shape of the tumbler seems to make it splash suddenly to the drinking hole when getting a sip and also when you tilt it back away from your mouth, again caution must be used because it will splash once again if done too quickly - especially if you're nearing the end of the contents.These were "the rage" a while back, but obviously the quality is questionable and I really think that the value is not there. This stainless steel tumbler is Made in China. There are now many other better options out there. But hey, they're pretty.

Typically I’d visit my local hallmark or tervis store. But the holidays are here and I am a last minute shopper with little time to travel 40 minutes to the closest tervis store! This is beautifully made, very colorful and the perfect coffee cup

I love this cup! The textured paint makes it easy to get a good grip. I was skeptical about the lid. But haven’t had any leakage. I pre warm with boiling water and my coffee stays warm until it is gone. The new lid is easy to clean too! Good job Tervis!

Wonderful design! Looks great and no issues with the quality of the the design on the container. Really well done.HOWEVER, My low review score is related to the fact it doesn’t retain heat of freshly brewed coffee like Yeti. No where close! Keeping heat for 6 hours is far from accurate. In the first 10 minutes the heat is significantly lower. Will also comment on the lid. I had to replace lid with a magnetic slider lid similar to what Yeti uses because maybe just me but it is difficult to drink from. The opening is too small and sits too low so the flow of the liquids makes it difficult to drink from.

The cup is lovely as pictured. You will want to hand wash with warm water. It is not leakproof and drinking with the top on will lead to dribbles down your chin and shirt. I love it for its looks and it does retain heat and cold nicely. But because it is a dribble cup, I use it for cold drinks only and use a straw. So I went ahead and gave it 3 stars. As I said you do not want to run it through dishwasher, just hand wash as I don’t know that the colors would hold up to high heat or abrasive scrubbings. It’s pretty enough for the little bit of TLC.

Beautiful cup, but the lid does not fit. I don't understand why they even sent it since it was clear the lid didn't fit! The lid was placed the the cup and was kind of pushed in, but it wasn't all the way down. CLEARLY did not fit!!! I had another Tervis cup in the same order and the lid was on perfectly, so I know they noticed the difference! All they needed to do was grab another lid. Packaged by Amazon. Very disappointed. Won't be able to use the cup the way I needed.

This tumbler keeps liquids cold for HOURS! I'm not a coffee drinker but carry a tumbler with me at all times because my mouth stays dry. I like my drinks really cold & this tumbler delivers. Ice will last overnight. Although I haven't actually measured it I'm not quite sure this is 30 0z. The one I replaced was 30 oz & this one doesn't seem to hold as much but I'm happy with it otherwise. I just wish manufacturers would make more tumblers with screw-on lids!

My wife is a dragonfly fanatic and this was the highlight of all her Christmas presents! Every day she drinks her water out of it and tells me how beautiful it is. The designs are gorgeous and the colors really pop! Also the lid is amazing, keeping the cup closed air tight when not in use. The only disadvantage is that I can’t put it in the dishwasher.
