I was amazed at how well it performed during a weekend camping trip, even in high temperatures. By the time we were ready to head home, there was still plenty of ice left to keep our drinks cold for the drive back. If you’re looking for reliable ice retention during long outdoor weekends or trips, this cooler delivers!The rubberized T-latches are another feature that really impressed me. They secure the lid tightly and lock in the cold efficiently. You can trust that this cooler will hold up even when it’s tossed around a bit. Also, the stainless-steel reinforced grab handle and triple-point grab handle with a rubber grip make it incredibly easy to carry, even when fully loaded. It’s easy to load into a vehicle, and the grip helps prevent it from slipping around.I also love the threaded drain plug, which makes draining the cooler incredibly easy. I was able to hook it up to my hose to drain out all the melted water with minimal effort. The thoughtful built-in fish ruler on the lid is a neat little touch for anyone into fishing, and it’s clear that Igloo put a lot of thought into the small details. I don't own a yeti or any of the other $200+++ coolers.I can't justify spending that much on keeping drinks cold for the afternoon.This cooler is the best I've ever owned for a fraction of the price. I don't need to keep beer cold for a week. That's what my refrigerator is for.Plus I don't like lugging around 83 lbs of cooler to the kids baseball game.Buy it, you won't regret it.

The cooler still had ice in it 2 days later. Very happy with it.

The 25QT is certainly better than my old Gott cooler but I don't agree with the ice retention claim. If you're opening it numerous times a day it's not close to 4 days ice retention.One thing I've seen mentioned in the reviews was adding a gasket to the lid, I used my laser thermometer on the areas surrounding the lid seal and found there was no significant cold air leakage. The plastic area around the rubber closures showed to be a half degree cooler but it was only a tiny spot. Personally I wouldn't waste money on a add-on seal.Not crazy about the rubber lid holds (they are not one-hand friendly) so based on my temp readings I stopped securing them unless I was carrying it or traveling in a vehicle.

Love this igloo cooler, keeps things ice cold for days while being light weigh unlike other cooler that also keep ice for days. Hold lots of food and drinks while camping. Easy to open latches. Pretty color

Works fine so far. I did follow someone's suggestions and added a circle of self-stick weatherseal in order to keep the seal function better.

Love this cooler. It fits perfectly behind my Jeep Rubicon seat.
