Excellent for small projects
Purchased these for a small sound dampening project. I do not have a decibel meter and can only go by observance.Pros: Decent size to work with for a small project like mine, easy to trim mold and form the shapes necessary for placement, reduces noise by a decent amount.Cons: I used E6000 glue and while the glue held to the foam portions still peeled away from itself after a little while.Thoughts: Might need to use a special adhesive to avoid unexpected separation and tearing but I do not know what might work best.

Cheap, Affordable, and Overall Good Quality!
I've been looking to spruce up my workstation with some foam since I het a lot of feedback bouncing against my walls. With this 7.1 Channel speaker setup it wasn't an option, it was a must. I decided to get these and try them out. Delivery was fast and product came in one piece. This set comes with six and I used 10 currently to try it out. I like them as far as looks and noise cancelation. Material is a of decent quality, not too thick but gets the job done. I do have to say though that finding a way to get them to stick on the wall can be an absolute hassle aside from the irrelevant need for perfection since I'm way too ocd about it. Gorilla double sided tape DID NOT work for this so I would recommend buying the clear thick ones that Amazon provides. It's stuck on there really tight and zero mess unlike Gorilla Tape. Noise cancelation is actually pretty good too, well at least if oyu have a small room for it otherwise you'd might want to get thicker ones for larger rooms. I would recommend this for anyone on a budget or trying to just make the place look nice. 4/5 rating

For the Struggling media producer.
So, You are going to start recording audio. You can not just do that in any ol' room. Echo off your bare wall will pick up on the mic. That's NOOOOO good. You need that good sound, but you just spent all your money on a brand new microphone. Well. These here are for you. This is very light foam, Compared to higher-end foam, (or even the same product from 2-3 years ago) It will hang easily on the wall with minimal adhesive. Even though it would benefit from having thicker foam, for what it is, it does its job.

You get what you pay for
So, these were inexpensive, but I still expected more. First, the tiles were not all the same material. It was like 2 different sources. One was darker and less “sparkly,” the other less so.Also, the tiles didn’t “tile.” They were not cut squarely, so the finished pattern was haphazard and inelegant…not a good look. Finally, they didn’t hold the sticky Velcro tape very well at all. As light as each panel is, they all fell off the wall overnight, leaving the half the sticky tape on the wall.I won’t be buying these again.Note on ratings: a rating was requested for noise cancellation. This foam…nor any other foam…is designed for noise cancellation.

Sounds dampening seems to work
I put up about 40 panels to block out noise from a loud neighbor and it appears to be less loud, but not silent; though I wasn't expecting that.I didn't use adhesives, i just bought push pins on each corner and aligned the panels above and beside each other. This made them very easy to install and move as needed. The panels appear to be 1 inch but cut in half with two panels fitting together to make a full inch, but I didn't measure them. They seem a bit smaller than 1 inch think, but these are very close to 12 inches wide by 12 inches long.Packaging comes with minimal wrapping, but panels are full sized when shipped, it would be better to vacuum wrap them and send in a smaller box, but that's just a suggestion.

Working great for my project.
I ordered one pack of these first to insure that they were as described and would also suit my needs before buying as many as needed to fulfill my aims. They are light weight eggcrate style foam squares. There are no adhesives applied, as stated in the description. If you need to use an adhesive insure you use one that will not melt the foam. Personally I used a commercial grade double sided, mesh, sticky tape that works perfectly for my needs.I am using the panels to sound insulate the doors and tailgate on my vehicle. These panels are perfect as they are light weight and easily cut to any size. Being only an inch, approximately 26 cm, thick they fit on the door panel nicely without casing undue pressure. They can be doubled or tripled up for deeper areas too.Being an eggcrate style on the one side means better sound insulation in the vehicle.Overall I am quite pleased with the product and after doing some research found the price to be one of the better available to me from various sources in the area I live in.

Seems too thin
The thickness of two panels interlocked is 1-1/4” thick. So when separated it is less than one inch. It is more like 7/8” thick.

Small but good
I like how i can choose colors and it’s easy to move around. Get this if you have a small rom not a huge room. These are small not bog ones that take up a huge space. So I’d recommend either glueing them or taping whatever is best together so you have a bigger panned instead sofn50 small ones

Meh! I'd not buy this again.
Not cut squarely and too light to be very effective, but better than nothing...barely.
