I retrofit on my old plasma and it works great. I do recommend. My old plasma cutter did not have the extra wire for the positive, but you just connected to the positive. you have to install it inside splice the wire

I made the mistakeI made the mistake I’m letting a friend borrow my plasma cutter and he totally messed up my torch gun. I thought I would give this one a chance since I needed to replace the other one. I was really pleased to see that it was actually better than the one original one. It has done a great job. I am getting clean cuts. It feels very durable and I expect it to last a long time as long as I don’t let other people borrow it.

Great replacement, old one worn bad

I have a Best Arc 80 Amp BTC800DP plasma cutter, and I'm using this torch on it for cutting at lower amperages, under 60A. Since I do most of my work with thin sheet metal and tubing, I wanted the flexibility to use smaller electrodes, and a smaller physical torch to get in tight spaces (cutting unibody car bodies for custom projects). This torch has the same connection size as my 80 Amp torch, but the head and handle is smaller, and the hose/cable is a little lighter too.The torch works well, and has a red and yellow handle, not the grey handle in the picture. I'm happy with the value for the money.
