I read 427 reviews on CF Express Type A cards on various websites from Amazon to Bestbuy etc... They all had one common theme, the prices were through the roof.Then I came across these Nextorage cards. Intrigued by the fact Nextorage was founded by Ex-Sony engineers. I love Japanese products and Sony if Japanese so I assume Nextorage is as well.I got two of these cards in the 480gb flavor for my Sony FX3 to use PROFESSIONALLY. Let me say, THESE ARE THE BEES KNEES! They are insanely fast to offload on PC with a proper reader/cable. I can record for hours on my Sony FX3 in raw log rec709 with the highest 4k settings. They never get hot enough to cause concern or an issue. And BEST OF ALL, they are reliable and [somewhat] AFFORDABLE.I considered getting the "pro" version for more heat resistance, but I ultimately rolled the dice with two of these, and am extremely pleased.Spare yourself the continuation of agonizing pain reading more reviews on CF eXpress cards and try these!

I’ve been using this 480GB CF express type A card with my Sony FX30 since June 3 and it’s been absolutely solid so far.I’ve tested it across all major video formats the FX30 offers -XAVC S 4K, XAVC S-I 4K, XAVC S-I DCI 4Kand the card handled everything without a single hiccup. Write speeds feel super fast and stable.I’ve filled it up to around 350GB (mostly video), and no overheating, lag or corrupted files - which honestly is all you can ask for. Also, transferring files to my PC is very quick. I use a fast card reader, and it offloads large files smoothly without long wait times.Fits perfectly in the FX30’s CFexpress Type A slot without any issues.

These fantastic cards are fully compatible with Sony cameras! I use it on my a9iii and it works amazing. A fantastic stand-in compared to the card Sony wants you to use. They write super fast and are super consistent. The read speed, when using the USB-C interfacing, is blazing fast.

I bought this because I wanted to shoot 4K 120 frames per second on my SONY FX30. There are so many different brands of CF storage out there. I did my research and read horror stories about corrupted files, damaged cards, etc. I heard that Nextorage was founded by ex-Sony engineers so that reassured me and when you take in consideration the price and performance of their cards, they are affordable. I bought their 80GB as a test and I was able to put this card in my camera and record with no issues. I will be buying their 160GB ones next time they are on sale.

It benchmarks quickly and is reliable. For the money, it seems like a good alternative to ProGrade and Sony cards. Lexar is no longer the classic Lexar and SanDisk has reportedly a problem with counterfeits sneaking into the supply chain.

Great price with amazing storage and speed. So far, shot weddings and lots of other stuff and didn't let me down. Definitely buying another one soon.

Wasn’t sure whether to trust this brand or not, but bought 2 of these cards to film weddings and events. They work great, 120fps 4k no problem on my FX3. I’ve had no issues whatsoever but will be sure to update if anything arises. So far, so good!
