If my people pray…..God answers. Great WW2 Patton story.
My dad was in Germany during WW2 before I was born. I’m grateful to all those who went and I enjoyed reading about Patton and the power of prayer during WW2. Definite not anything I saw or heard about in high school or college history. Well worth your time to read and then share with others if you get the hardback book.

Excellent
This book narrates WWII from the Battle of the Bulge to Patton’s death following the end of the war. It is told predominantly through Patton’s eyes, with many anecdotal stories from others who were there, and one gets to see the battles unfold from the commander’s point of view. Patton, while a brilliant leader, was also human, and his flaws are also noted.I found this book to be very engaging and came away with a far better understanding of the man and his leadership. For those interested in this subject, it is well worth reading.

Interesting Perspective
While the book itself is well-written, I was troubled by the image of Patton that is portrayed as it does not seem to match what is usually depicted. I did not live through the war, and my parents were too young to remember much from that time. Because of this, I have no way of knowing what Patton's personality was truly like, but I'm afraid he may have been painted a bit more saintly in this work than he actually was. I enjoyed reading about the Battle of the Bulge as it is not something I had previously studied. I found the troop movements interesting, and felt that the writer did a very good job with research in that regard. I came away feeling like I had a good understanding of the Allied situation and movements during this period. I enjoyed the read and passed the book on to another WWII enthusiast.

Easy Read
Enough details to be interesting but not too many to make it boring. Much more of the human interest story.

Misleading title,
A page turner history of Patton and the Battle of the Bulge. Somewhat misleading, in that the prayer parts are quite minuscule. I’ve read other books about Patton that mentioned his Christian life more. I do love the writing style of this author and plan on purchasing more books written by him.
