Charles Wilson Long Sleeve Classic Gingham Checked Casual Shirt

I'm 5ft 7in and weigh 9.5 stone. I bought a size medium and it was too small for me, so i sent it back. I've just received a size large and it seems to fit me fine, its not too baggy and not too tight. Ive bought a few "charles wilson" shirts now, and they all are smaller than the label size, so definitly go a size up if ordering any. The shirt is good quality for the price. I would buy again.

I enjoy looking good in casual wear and am happy to pay a reasonable price for such. However what I am sick of is paying out for named brands only to find the quality and life span is mediocre. When my so called top quality jeans gave up the ghost after very little wear I decided enough was enough and starting looking around to see what else was available. I cam across CW slim jeans at a very low price, I ordered a pair expecting them to be rubbish only to be surprised by the quality, fit and look. I straight away ordered another pair in a different colour way and then decided to see what else CW had to offer. I ordered these 2 shirts for winter at a price that seemed to good to be true. They promptly arrived this morning, whilst a little tighter than my usual medium size once again I was struck but the quality and look of them. At last good stuff at a good price I shall be a regular visitor to their site.

I had to re order an L size, as the M size I ordered did not fit and was a wee bit tight. All my shirts are M, from wherever I buy them, yet a M from Charles Wilson did not fit. Anyway, the L is a great fit, love the colours, nice quality shirt, will buy more from this supplier. Excellent shirt at a good price. But just one negative comment, the shirt is to short! Someone else has already mentioned this and say they are now three inches shorter in length. That loses one star for me, as do prefer a short I don't have to keep tucking in! and have had to revisit this review, as the shortness of this shirt has become so annoying when wearing it. Will not be buying any other shirts from them now sadly.

I must say it was for my son and he not really a check shirt kind of guy. More near and plain. He looked at it in packet and I could see the omg look on his face lol. I said honest you wait till you try it on !! God it looked fab and he could not beleive how nice it was on. So nice he wore it that night out. Very happy and the fit thankyou. I knew it would really suite him a mums never far wrong lol

Very good but for some weird reason, this is smaller than the another Charles Wilson checked shirt that I also brought. Both are labeled "Medium" but this blue one is slightly smaller than the other one. Very weird but still a perfectible good shirt and I'm happy I brought it.

I really like the fabric and style of this shirt, but, it's a bit tight even for me and large is my size. Would recommend that anyone who's interested should go up a size from his/her normal size. Great value for the money.

Lightweight cotton poplin style, 100% cotton, reminds me a bit of old school Ben Sherman shirts. The styling/cut is unflashy but good. Bright colours, quite emphatic. There are a couple of loose threads but that's a minor distraction at this price point. Very good value for money, not a lot more than a Primark shirt but a lot better quality
