Sauder Shoal Creek Bookcase Headboard, Full/Queen, Soft White finish

Very easy to assemble, drawers took way longer because of double sided tape. Used my staple gun for the drawer bottoms and headboard back, worked really well and holds better than the nails. Used duct tape on bottom outside of drawers, held down the flaps and covered the staples. Finished product looks nice. There were no missing or damaged parts. Great value for the price.

The drawers are pretty small but still useful to store the usual bits and bobs you might want around your bed in. Its not the greatest quality in the world but it looks nice and is surprisingly sturdy in my opinion. Have realistic expectations when ordering the cheapest things on here and you usually won't be shocked and/or dismayed. It is obviously particle-board and might take a little fighting with it to make the drawers line up EXACTLY how you want them, but other than that I think it looks really nice. Now I just have to be careful not to spill candle wax on the white because I don't think it will ever come out if I do.

Definitely added a little something to the room, convenient and a total space saver. Very durable, clean looking, and super easy to put together (did it all by myself). I'm so glad I bought this, convinced my brother to buy one as well.

Short of this Review:Pros: Easy to follow instructions for construction of the headboard. Offers three punch outs for electric cords. (Personal opinion:) It has a visually appealing design.Cons: Drawers do not fit the space designed for the drawers. Instructions for attaching the bottom of the drawer make the drawer look (personal opinion:) cheap and unappealing.Overall the construction of this product was fairly easy and the instructions were easy to follow. At one point I had problems with some pegs lining up with holes for one of the sides of the headboard; luckily I was able to pull, push, and give it a couple of taps with a hammer and made it work.The drawers are the biggest disappointment with this product. To start off I will state that the bottom of the drawers are thick cardboard; if you attempt the drawers I would recommend NOT using the double sided tape to attach the cardboard to the wooden sides but rather use nails and just nail it down (and cut off any extra cardboard) as it make it look nicer. The width of the drawers were measured without considering the hardware that attaches the inner/outer sides and shelf above the drawer, because there is some hard ware that sticks out a little on the inside, the sides of the drawers hit it and don't allow the drawers to go in AT ALL. This was a big disappointment for me as I like the looks with the drawers (although it does look nice without them). Currently I have the front of the drawers sitting where they're intended to be, and plan on purchasing some small door hinges to attach the drawer front to the headboard so that it works more like a door rather than a drawer but still looks similar to what I was wanting.I would recommend to company to pre-drill the holes for where the sides attach, the front of the drawers, maybe an extra centimeter in on both sides to avoid having future customers have the same unsatisfactory experience as I did.

Perfect for my new Queen sized bed. Not too hard to put together, just a little. But well worth it!

We recently upgraded my daughters twin size storage/loft bed with a full size bed frame. We got this storage headboard so she'd have places to put her phone, alarm clock, etc close to her bed since her room doesn't offer a lot of space for a night stand.The box it came in was pretty heavy, but I was able to move it around by myself, just had to be careful with it. I am a big guy though so would recommend two people carry it if possible. It is packaged very well and all parts were accounted for and in good condition. The assembly instructions were pretty decent and I had it together in about an hour and a half. The only issue I had was I put the back panel on wrong, so the perforated holes they have for you to punch out (to run cords through if need be) didn't line up right. No big deal, I can drill some others if needed. The picture in the instructions showed how it went, I just didn't notice. It would have been nice if there had been a note about the alignment of it.Once it was completed my wife and I moved it into her room and her bed bolted right up to it. Easy peasy. The unit seems very sturdy but only time will tell. Has a lot of storage and my daughter really likes it.One thing to note for anyone considering this one. When I was looking over the pictures on the ad, I saw a depth measurement at the top of 8 1/8 inches but didn't notice the depth at the bottom of the legs of 11 1/2 inches. I didn't take into account how it narrows at the top. When measuring where we were going to put her bed and new headboard I was going on the top depth and then realized as I was putting it together that it was 3 inches longer.Anyway, that was my mistake, but just in case anyone is considering this one, something to look for.

Disclaimer. I hate the drawers so I just didnt bother with them.So easy I put it together by myself. Took about 30 minutes or so. The only confusing thing was the locking screws that didnt quite do what they should have but it worked out once I got the back on and I was able to tighten it. It looks really good and holds a TON of books. I still need a bookcase so that's next on the list however this is a very nice headboard.

Terrible product and worst amazon buy I’ve bought yet. Followed the directions to a T and everything still fell apart. Some of the hidden cams that came with the product broke when we tried to put things together. Save yourself the time and headache, do not buy this product.

Less than half the price of the identical product at Wayfair. Good Solid headboard .. easy to put together, and the instructions are clear and precise. Looks great with my white bed frame and even provides punch outs for lighting. The only down side I have is that the drawers don't fit very well, could be designed better. But other than that this is a very well made solid headboard, that looks great.
