BEAUTIFUL REPLICA CAST IRON GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY TOILET ROLL HOLDER GWR TRAIN

Looks good in my railway themed downstairs loo. Shame the fixing screws weren’t in the same colour as the holder. Makes a slight noise when you pull toilet paper from it. Probably wouldn’t want it in the en-suite because of that.

Love the style, however, when you put a new toilet roll in, it tends to rub against the back plate and munch up the toilet tissue which is a real shame. We have made a few adjustments, added a couple of washers to bring the wooden bit forward of the plate, to stop the rubbing, but as soon as someone leans on it, we are back to square one. Something to work on, as we don't want to give up.... it's a lovely thing to have.

Look good and good value for the price. But most important, my wife loves it!

Well made item that does the task it was designed for, ideal for those "retro" looks.

Bought this as a gift for my Grandad and he loved it!It looked amazing but one issue is that it isn't wholly practical because the actual holder doesn't come far enough from the base to hold a roll properly.Nevertheless, still looks great and the gift was much appreciated.
