It’s a must have for us.
My only negative is it’s a bit heavy. Otherwise I love it. Owned for about 1 year and no problems. Works fantastic and keeps the bugs away. Definitely worth the money

Three Clear Plastic Fuel Lines Disintegrated
This review for Invatech Invaital 868. Watch out for the 3 clear plastic tubes coming out of the fuel tank. Mine disintegrated after five years or about 4 uses. Filled it up with spray solution and the motor won't start. Then I noticed one of tubes broken off at the tank and the other two partially attached and partially dissolved. Invatech sell the tubes and the tank as a package for $50 and can't buy the tubes separate. Instead, of buying the tank and tubes bundle, I went to the local O'R----y auto parts store and purchased fuel tubing (2 ft of PRI 7-08150-1, diameters 3x5.5 and 1 ft of PRI 7-08153-1, diameters 2.5x5) as replacement tubing. I cut the fuel intake tube long enough to reach form the back and bottom of the fuel tank up through the hole in the gromet to the intake nipple and made sure to attach the old fuel filter to tank end of tubing. Next, I cut the smaller diameter tubing to a length so it would protrude about 1/2 inch from the hole in the gromet into the tank and where the other end extends from the outside end of the gromet and connects to the intake nipple of the primer bulb. Then inserted another section of the large diameter tubing into the tank end of the gromet and pulled the tubing through the hole in the gromet so that about an inch of tubing extended from the other side of the gromet and attached the check valve to this portion of tubing, then cut the tank side of the this tubing so that it protruded about half an inch from the gromet into the tank. Then reinserted the gromet into the fuel tank. Other than that, the sprayer worked fine.

InvaTech well made and works great
Live in CT and mosquitos are bad this year. Purchased the Invatech fogger along with some Oneguard insectiside. Machine was easy to put together and very well made. You need premium gas plus 50:1 oil to power. Loaded the solution started it up 2nd pull and fogs like professional machine. The Oneguard was expensive so sought an alternative and ended up with Bifen XTS gallon. This is a great machine and highly recommend.

Great company
Bought this in march of 2012… now may of 2025. Still starts in 1-2 pulls after the winter with fresh gas. After the season I let the motor run the gas dry. Very easy to use… I only use 2 gallons of liquid as it is very heavy full at 3.6 gallons and I am a very fit guy. I had an issue with the motor bogging down at the second year and customer service was excellent on the phone with sending me a new tool to adjust the carb. I would buy again! Honestly suprising from a company I never heard from (like most of you)Update 2025: had the rubber grommet break on the fuel tank and they sent me a replacement. Excellent customer service 4 years later. Thank you!

Great mister
Had to assemble, however, all of the parts were clearly labeled and assembly was easy. I have been in the pest control industry for over 35 years and this mister works great! We'll have to see about it's longevity, however, I bought the assurion extended warranty so no worries...would definitely recommend!

Far better than I expected.
I got this to treat some small field crops for insects. It was way too large an area to use a pump-up sprayer and too small (and too covered with crops) to have a commercial applicator spray it. I had looked at the Stihl products which do the same thing but the one which was most similar to this was $719 (apparently "on sale", regularly $749). Ouch, that's a lot of money to see if a solution will work. I found this one and gambled that, at $400 less, it would function well enough to get the job done. It very much does.I also expected that, being on Amazon, and being this inexpensive, it would be made in China. However, I have not found a "Made in xxxxx" marking on the unit, but the branding of the unit indicates the brand, Invatech, and "Italia". Italia is Italy. While that's not as conclusive as a clear marking of "Made in Italy", I believe, based on the markings and the quality of the build, that it was made in Italy. It was easy to assemble and came with some spare parts I didn't expect (like a spare pull-start unit). The unit fired up immediately the first time and I had no problems with the carburetor functioning as-is out of the box. Some reviews mention having to adjust the carburetor, and there's a tool in the box to do so. FWIW, I'm at about 1,000 feet elevation, and elevation can have an impact on carbureted engines. The only negative I can say about this aspect of the unit is that the carburetor adjustment tool comes wrapped separately and has a label indicating that opening the bag with the tool "will void the warranty". What the...you include a tool to adjust the unit then tell the user that if they use the tool they void their warranty? What a bunch of garbage...you could open the bag, use the tool, throw the tool and the bag in the trash, who's gonna know? The Draconian warning about the warranty when it's so obviously un-provable whether you opened the bag or not is offputting.Anyway, the unit has worked well. The shoulder straps were very padded and easy to adjust. The unit is easy to operate and has functioned well. The instructions indicate that filling the tank with no more than 2 gallons of fluid is recommended. They're not kidding. Each gallon of water weighs, approximately, 8 pounds and the unit can hold 4 gallons...that's roughly 32 pounds of water on top of the unit weight which I recall to be about 25 pounds. I'm 6' 1" and not exactly scrawny and 2 gallons in the unit was quite enough, thank you. They advise using an elevated platform to mount and dismount the unit from your back and that is highly recommended. I set it on the tailgate of my truck, but a sturdy table would work just fine. Just don't try to mount it on your back directly from the ground; that would be a bit much.Overall, I'm very pleased with the unit, especially at the price. The process of spraying the crops in this manner has worked for us. We weren't sure, so spending a lot less money on this versus the Stihl was a logical choice. That choice has worked out well.
