It's a Lovely bag! Well made with good 👍🏽 quality leather material. Only used it for a week now and am enjoying it. Leather smell has faded away already. The size is good for my daily use bag, enough compartments to put a lot. Only thing is, I wish the top zippers opened a little lower for a wider opening for more ease of access & view🙂

I usually use a backpack for work, so even though it's my purse I don't necessarily use it every day. However, I do use it pretty frequently and I'm not super gentle with it. I got mine in 2019 and it still looks great. The zipper zips smoothly, you can open and close the bag with one hand.I got this bag because I needed a bag that was (1) unobtrusive (didn't swing around like a shoulder bag does & is not heavy), (2) big enough to hold all my stuff, and (3) looks good. This bag fits all three requirements.I used to use an 8.5"x5" notebook for my planner and most purses won't fit that (or if they do, they're super heavy). I can fit my mail, a book, my kindle, wallet, phone, hand sanitizer, keys, and other bits and bobs comfortably. I don't have to think about whether I have enough space or bother with a tote bag and end up carrying around two bags. This bag is big enough for errands and small enough to still look cute and tidy.I get a lot of compliments on this bag, too. Two of my friends have bought it in the same color as I have (cognac). I love recommending it because I know people will love it.

This is a BEAUTIFUL bag. I am into hands free, but like to do it in style and love that this bag offers the option to be a sophisticated handbag or backpack. It's sleek, has many pockets and is not too big or small. Just enough for me to have a remote work day with my mac air, battery charger and Contigo.Originally I bought it in mustard for half the price. I loved it so much that I went ahead and got it at the current price in black. It averages out between the two to help me feel as though I still got a great deal.LOVE it and get many compliments :-)

All pockets are upright for top loading so nothing falls out as long as zipped. Main compartment has two zippers that meet in middle. Good design for travel. Two outside zip pockets for phone, keys, stuff you don't want to dig for. The bag is deeper and not quite as wide as you might want. The lining inside makes me want to cut it out so I have one big open compartment. I may do it. The inside zipped compartment isn't practicle. The backpack straps pull through to form the adjustable single shoulder strap or crossbody. Best feature by far. Strap does have a shiny nylon type fabric on one side. Not really a problem but I'd prefer no shine to draw less attention to it. A personal pref of mine is that bag would sit up on its own. I remedy this by cutting rigid piece out of a cardboard box the size of the base and pushing it inside to the bottom. It smelled like leather out of box but doesn't now, two weeks later. It has the rich look of all leather but it is a hybrid in my opinion. I don't know how workable for travel. I find myself pulling things out to access stuff at the bottom. As I mentioned, it's deep and needs more width and could stand to be less rigid and heavy. One last bit of picky-ness... One outside compartment is attached instead of built in. I'm on the fence as to how this feature looks. I plan to keep it. For the price and versatility it's a smart buy. Lots of us are looking for that backback purse that looks good over shoulder and doesn't look like your going backpacking when on your back. This one is really as good as it gets at this price.

The quality is amazing! Plus, I can fit my 13” laptop and 10” tablet in the bag at the same time and can still hold everything else I use regularly. There are plenty of pockets for all those items. It’s comfortable to wear as a backpack or a purse - and easy to transition between the two. Highly recommend this bag!

I received the bag today, so I may be updating this review after the two week journey I am about to take through which it will hopefully endure.I’ve purchased leather satchels on amazon before, and Hershel backpacks, and even nice hand bags, but none of them fit my style and needs perfectly. I’m extremely particular. I need something that is, in order of import:-Practical, no nonesense-elegant/timeless, can be used for many looks-high quality enough to last years-something that evokes the adventuring spirit of a swashbuckling female Indiana Jones while still reaching the preparedness levels of bibo baggins (I’m an artist, I need all those pockets)-can be dressed up with a plain blouse or something for a more femme look when necessaryI’m pleased to say this is the first bag that looks like it will meet ALL of those requirements. The leather is a rich, thick, high end quality and the bag smells like a Kate spade store. When browsing this bag there weren’t any good descriptions of inside pockets so; there are two zippered pockets within the bag, the first attached to the side of the bag, the second, about pencil pouch sized, acting as a dividing wall. There are two smaller additional non zippered pockets on the other wall of the bag. All in all, even I may not be able to make this bag a mess.My one concern is actually how expensive the leather looks, as the tag says to take precautions against fog and moisture. I’m an avid hiker and backpacker who does things on a whim, so we shall soon see if these precautions are valid or only the supplier’s way to get out of a guarantee. Very Pleased.
