Great watch
I recently bought the Citizen CB5921-59X, and it’s by far my favorite of the three Citizen watches I’ve owned. The green dial catches the light just right, giving it a subtle, appealing shine. The stainless steel case and bracelet have a solid weight to them, making the watch feel very well-made.A big selling point for me was the price. For a radio-controlled watch, it’s much more affordable than many other options out there. I was able to manually sync the time to a satellite right out of the box, even inside my house. Then, on my first night wearing it to bed, the watch automatically synced in the middle of the night with no issues at all.The Eco-Drive technology is another great feature—no need to change batteries, which is really convenient. The sapphire dial window is durable, scratch-resistant, and has a slight convex design that adds a nice touch to the overall look. The watch keeps accurate time, and it’s also water-resistant, so I don’t have to take it off for everyday activities.Overall, this is a fantastic watch. It’s stylish, reliable, low-maintenance, and a great price for a radio-controlled model. I definitely recommend it.

Great Watch
I just got a new job with a big raise and wanted to celebrate by getting a nice watch. I’m a total watch noob, but after doing a little research and figuring out what I like, this is the one I picked. I really love it. I’ve already bought a few other watches for my new collection, but this is my everyday watch now and I think I could be happy with it being my only watch from here on out. It’s a little complicated if you don’t have much experience with chronograph watches, but nothing I couldn’t figure out. I had to take it to get adjusted to fit my wrist. I wish it had more micro adjustments because one link out is slightly too big, but two links out was way too small.A very pretty watch and it gets attention. I would definitely buy it again.

My Favorite Watch
I own several citizen watches and all are high quality, so I'm not the least bit surprised that this one is as well. Watch is very well built. The sapphire crystal is great. I wear it nearly every day and despite my not being very gentle with it, after six months the crystal doesn't have a single mark on it. The stainless steel strap is high quality. I can't attest to the difficulty of removing links because I have pretty large wrists and it fit me perfectly right out of the box. This is a fairly big and heavy watch so it might not be the best choice if you have smaller wrists but it fits me perfectly. Many people are saying the setup is very difficult and a few have even returned it for that reason but I disagree with them. Download the manual and spend a few minutes reading the instructions and it isn't bad at all. The best part is that once it is set you won't have to mess with it again. This watch is accurate to the second every single day. Radio control works great and it sets itself every morning at 2am. It accounts for leap year, DST and the number of days in the month. Literally set it and forget it. The lume is excellent. It has enough light to continue glowing all night. Just make sure it gets some light every once in awhile to keep the lume and battery charged. Highly recommeded!!

Re-evaluation of the Citizen Promaster Land Atomic
Re-evaluation:After about a year and a half, I had to send in this watch to replace the crown and stem. I had to wait about three months because Citizen didn’t have the parts on hand. When I got it back (and paid almost $70 because the problem wasn’t covered by the warranty) I still could not set the watch properly. This was probably because I couldn’t get the watch to receive the signal from a U.S. atomic clock. Finally, I did find a place in my home (on the window pane in my bathroom) to leave the watch overnight so that it could receive the signal. It reminds me of the old days when you had to find just the right position for your am/fm radio and its antenna to receive a noise-free radio signal. I do still like the watch. Just be careful when pulling out the crown and be aware of the possible challenges in getting a signal from a U.S. atomic clock.Original Review:The watch communicates with one of the U.S. government’s atomic clocks via radio reception, keeping the watch ridiculously accurate. The watch would be good for sportsmen and outdoor adventurers, with a sapphire crystal, rugged metal band, water resistance to 200 meters, chronograph and alarm. Its rechargeable battery won’t need to be replaced. Just give it a little sunlight from time to time. (Indoor light would work, but why stay indoors? Go Diving. Climb mountains. Fly airplanes. The watch can take it. Can't you?) I’m happy with the watch. I expect it to last a long time.

Great features
I love the features and quality of this watch. Ecodrive, alarm, date, and day of the week. Great watch for the price. I replaced the band with a NATO band.

Beautiful timepiece
I own 4 citizen eco drives and this is my favorite. The radio controlled feature is a very cool technology that gives super accurate time. The watch feels solid too and the clasp makes for a good design. The sapphire crystal is scratch resistant and that alone adds plenty to the watch’s appeal.

Just Perfect
Once I got the booklet for the watch, the rest was easy. This is a most beautiful Citizen watch. I've heard so many negative reports that the 'radio controlled' feature was useless, they never got a signal. I first found a window sill with no high obstructions. Then set the watch to receive a signal, let it sit out over night. The next morning it showed a successful update. The watch face is well designed and luminous hands / dials display well in the dark.Overall, this watch is a "class act".
