Pop Up Bubble Tent, 10' x 10' Instant Igloo Tent, Clear Dome Tent for Outdoor, Winter Waterproof (C-1001-6)

I've had this igloo tent just over 3 months (Nov-Jan) hoping it would give us a chance to use the deck and be outdoors a bit through the winter in southern NH, and it has held up pretty well even through a number of snowfalls. I attached some of the ties on the sides to the deck railings and the ties at the base to cords looped through gaps in the deck planks so during windy storms, the large side hoops and structure will flex but not move or collapse. I also cut 2'x2' foam mats to fit the hexagonal floor to reduce cold air through the deck plank gaps.After a rain, I noticed water collecting on the roof where the hoops join together, and the moisture soaks through the cloth covering of the hoops then drips inside so I taped extra-large transparent shower curtains to cover the roof and all 6 joins. When it snows more than an inch or two, it can weigh down the roof so I use a broom to sweep snow off the roof and prevent ice/water from collecting in those joins. I've also whacked the sides and roof to knock snow off, but be aware the plastic seems more brittle in cold - I accidentally punched two rips in the roof! (Fortunately the shower curtains remained intact so I just taped the rips.) When there's a lot of rain, or deep snow piled against the sidewalls, water can seep in at the seam where the base cloth attaches to the clear sides - so I cut a piece of shower curtain taller than the base cloth section to line one side where drips happen, and that keeps the moisture from pooling on the mats.As others have noted, the zippers can be very hard to open/close especially with the tension from the hoops, and I have two spots where the zipper ripped away from the clear plastic. I used Gorilla clear tape inside and outside to try to seal those spots, but the stress is really too much to fix with tape. Since I only use the front door, I now keep the door rolled up and instead purchased a transparent door curtain (like those magnetic self-closing mesh curtains for sliding glass doors) - Alyseldy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ475D8K. To handle wind storms, I had to supplement the curtain's magnetic closures with additional pairs of strong rare earth magnets taped inside/outside - and occasionally the wind will still open up the curtain.Before snow arrived, the igloo was a nice warm place protected from brisk winds, and when the sun was out, it would actually get too hot 70+ degrees. At our winter holiday party, the sun warmed the inside to about 50 degrees, and 4 people ate their lunch outside in the igloo. Recently when it was 37 degrees outside with wind, the sun warmed it to 57 inside the igloo. Now that it's cold enough for snow and sometimes into single digits, I have an extension cord and an electric heater inside so it can still be comfortable. I've been very happy with the igloo despite a few issues as noted above - mostly solvable. If there is a very heavy snowfall, perhaps 4" or more might be too heavy for the structure. Hopefully we can continue to use it through the spring until it gets warm enough not to need it.

The quality of this tent is not that good. We got holes on the top with normal use on our deck.

I like the sturdiness, considering it is actually just a tent. I am using it as a greenhouse to overwinter plants in front of my small RV. In order to use as a greenhouse it has to have a floor, which I made from interlocking foam tiles.Plants, dogs and children love it. My neighbors want to come over and sleep in it for a night.

Works well for coverage. Water will still get in from underneath. There is no bottom, not a problem in my case .

The tent itself = 5 stars, but the instruction manual = 0 stars. This tent took me HOURS to put together, combined over a period of several days, and numerous back-n-forth support emails to ask questions, because the sheet of instructions is so incomplete and badly-written. It's a pretty cool item itself (model #C-1001-6) but the Lenotos Tent Co. really needs to completely re-write their paper instruction sheet, and dumb it down to the level that even a 3rd grader can understand the steps to follow.

I love this tent! Easy to put up and take down.

Door Zipper is difficult to zip up, the Zipper broke within 1 week of using and tent tore in less then a month of using due to the tough zipper.

The box it arrived in was a mess, also there were no instructions included. I was lucky that I had another tent by another brand and was able to use their instrctions.
