Household Essentials Medium Storage Bag, Clear Polyethylene with Black Trim

The dimensions of the bag are clearly given in the product description so I knew I was getting a sizeable bag, but I was blown away at how large this "medium" bag was when I got it - the large must be the size of a body bag if this one is considered "medium"!I purchased it to put a compact lawn chair, lightweight footstool and lightweight stepstool in for when I go camping. That took up about a whopping 1/3 of the bag. I was able to put in my sleeping bag, sleeping pad and several other lightweight items and STILL have room for more. The bag is made of the same type of material used for a tarp and is quite strong. The handles are kind of a lightweight nylon, but are sewn very well into the bag and reinforced on the inside. The items I'm using it for are definitely out of the norm, but when I pick the bag up it shows no signs of stress.The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because I wish it had a plastic bottom insert piece to give it a little more durability. Since I'm transporting the lawn chair and associated items I think a plastic insert would be nice. That being said, this is still a great bag and I'm sure if I go to a craft store I can find the type of plastic insert material and make one myself.This would be outstanding for storing bedding items, towels, off season clothing items and the like.UPDATE: MAY 2013After moving to a larger home I decided to store my luggage set in the basement, but wanted it protected from dust and musty smells. I no longer needed the bag for my intended need and noticed my 27" LL Bean Quickload pullman fit in here like a glove with the smaller luggage pieces inside the 27" bag. The LL Bean Quickload luggage is more duffle-like and not "squared off" - I'm not positive it would fit a 27" "squared off" bag, but would easily fit a "squared off" 25" bag.

Other reviewers were right....this medium sized bag is huge! I knew that from checking reviews before buying, and that's what I wanted. I am using it to hold gift bags and tissue paper. I previously kept them in a tote, that had gotten too full to close. No problem fitting them all in this bag, could probably add at least 40-50 more. Haven't had it long enough to say much about durability, but gave it 4 stars in that area, as it seems pretty tough. I don't intend on lugging it around much, but seems like it'd hold up fine if I did.

Big bag. I am not sure if I missed it but the size of the bag is approx. 24" square. At first I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but we soon found a use for it. It seems sturdy enough but I haven't added tons of weight to it yet. I carry maybe 15 pounds in it. It is a tarp like material (the seems will allow water to seep through). it is whiteish and not clear but a bit translucent. It is about 8-12" wide (I didn't measure).UPDATE: I use this to hold the cover for my boat. It is set on the floor of the boat, cover goes in then carried to the car. The reverse when were done. I've had two top at the seam by the zipper in less than a year. I have a third that I put outdoor stuff in and put the bag on a shelf. It rarely gets moved. That one is still good. I'd recommend for static storage that is rarely handled. It would be good for attic storage, or something similar.

We used the measurements from this and the mattress we purchased. It was also linked in the product suggestions as "items often purchased" with the mattress we bought. While the mattress fits in the bag, it is a struggle to get it in there - it is such a tight fit. Not only that, because it is such a tight fit, it is difficult to zip, even when you squish the memory foam at the top. As a result, the zipper broke when we rebagged it the second time. It still protects the mattress and even not zipped it covers most of the mattress, but that is annoying. I hate paying money for something that doesn't work quite right and then breaks. The fabric part of the bag is quite sturdy, however, and holds up despite the tight squeeze.

Huge excellent bag! Great for storage & also for moving. It’s very well made & strong. I bought several of these bags & will be buying several more as my daughter is moving out next month. Can be used over & over again. Really strong. Good zipper & handles. Could be stored in a closet & under a bed full of clothing or linens. It would keep them all clean. I even store craft items in these bags. I hope this is helpful.

The bag ripped at the seam just by opening it to put my items inside. For the size, I expected the seams to be sewn with a durable nylon threading but it was just standard white string. Then, upon closing the bag the zipper came off track. I didn't even get to use it once before it broke. I wish I could return or at least exchange for one that isn't broken - but this item is not eligible for returns. I also hate that I paid a little extra for expedited shipping since I needed the bag for a camping trip to hold my bedding.

This bag is HUGE. I had no idea it was going to be this friggin' big. I use it for storage, and just might buy a few more, maybe another for my laundry or something else. When I say it's big, it's BIG. It's also quite durable, and I love that it zips up. Highly recommend this product. I think this bag would be great for shopping as well if you plan to buy something really big, or you're buying a huge quantity of something. Definitely a lot of uses for this thing. As I've stated, I am definitely heavily considering nabbing a few more.Buy this without any hesitation.

I bought this bag to hold a Milliard Tri Folding Mattress 31. The mattress does fit in the bag nicely, but the zipper stitching is done so poorly it immediately ripped away from the tarp material. The two sides of the zipper are not stitched together at the end so if you unzip it too far the slider comes off. The corner seams and handles appear to be made well enough. The woven poly tarp makes this bag very light. It is similar to an IKEA bag. Ultimately I returned it and will be trying the regulation storage bag designed for my mattress.

I've tried lots of kinds of bags on here looking for something good for storing bedding and bringing it camping. These are one of the best I've come across so far. The ones I bought were Medium size but they are huge. Looks to be waterproof or water resistant, handles have good stitching and the zipper didn't break the first time I used it (which puts it ahead of most laundry bags on here).

I have bought some similar items from other retailers. The quality of this one was somewhat lower despite the higher price. Do not try to overload. I put one extra puffed pillow and the stitches torn apart very easily.The size is as described.

This bag is absolutely enormous - I didn't pay much attention to the measurements, so this was kind of a surprise. I love it. I can put my crafty stuff in there to keep it tidy, and I can also move the bag around with me. Huge. Awesome.

Somewhat expensive for this quality. You can use it to store your winter clothes in the basement, but I doubt if it may stand for a camping or an air travel.

This bag is Crap, I bought it to store extra camp bedding, When I picked it up to carry to closet, the whole side seam tore apart. Very in quility of this product.
