A Healthy, Convenient Cooking Oil!
Spectrum Naturals Coconut Spray Oil is my go-to for healthy cooking! It’s made from organic coconut oil, so I can feel good about using it in all my meals. The spray makes it super convenient, allowing for just the right amount without excess oil. It adds a light, natural coconut flavor to dishes, and I love that it's non-GMO and free from harmful chemicals. A clean, healthy oil I highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their cooking!

Healthy nonstick oil
I like this oil that is both healthy and doesn’t seem to change the flavor of the food. But unless you wipe the spray valve after each use the oil will harden when it’s cold and clog the valve. Running under warm to hot tap water fixes the problem. So I will keep purchasing this product.

Great taste and convenience, but spray comes with trade-offs
I love the taste of this oil, and the spray can is pretty convenient. A quick spritz is excellent on microwaved popcorn. For baking, the spray can puts a very thin "spluttering" on a cookie sheet or foil lining. Just don't use it above 350 degrees F.I've tried it sauteing vegetables, with mixed results. The spray means very little added oil, but maybe I just like the taste of veggies sauteed in a lot of olive oil better. That said, this is a *sprayable* form of coconut oil, that means that there are trade offs:PROS:Taste and convenience. The pros outweigh the cons, for me.CONS:1) The price. This stuff seems to run about $6 or $7 bucks per 6-ounce can. You can get a 14 ounce jar (not sprayable) for the same price.2) You need a propellent to get the oil out of the can. The manufacturer will only say that the propellent is "FDA approved". That does not fill me with confidence, because the FDA has approved propellants that break down to toxic chemicals (like phosgene gas) when passed through an open flame. But I'm not worried enough to stop using the product, you should not spray this too near a gas stove, irregardless, because the spray is flammable.3) You need an emulsifier to keep the product liquid inside the can. In this case, it's soy lecithin. A few people are allergic to soy lecithin. If you are, then spray coconut oil is probably not possible for you.4) This product has mystery, "natural flavor". This bothers me, and I'll see if the company will detail what it is but, for now, I'm still using this oil.5) The oil spray is a little sloppy and oil tends to solidify around the nozzle quickly. This is annoying, but I wipe off the semi-solid oil and use it for frying and sauteing.

Best on Air Popped Popcorn
Since I couldn't find this in the store where I live, I ordered a case online. I use this for air popped popcorn instead of butter to cut calories and overall more healthy choice to help the salt stick. Works great for cooking and baking as well. Was so happy to find this brand that I've used for years finally available!

Should have bought this sooner
Great product. greasing a muffin tin takes just a few seconds with this spray, which is great because I’m always in a hurry with 4 small children at home. Doesn’t add any noticeable flavor to food. Will definitely buy again.

One of the best types of oil for cooking!
Love that it is organic and rated on top with olive oil and avocado oil! Like the ease of a spray without the toxins in it!

Easy way to use coconut oil
This is great on popcorn! I air pop organic popcorn and spray this on it so I have a controlled amount of oil on my popcorn. It’s perfect!
