Good deal/quality...Need to be cleaned and off-gas
Great deal. Yes, they are packed coated in oil to inhibit rust, so they each have to be washed and rinsed with a soapy cloth. And they need to de-gas for sever days for the "new rubber" smell to go away, but this is pretty standard for this type of weight. The base was easy to install with an 11/16 ratchet/wrench. I agree with another reviewer that it is better to put the nuts on the outside of the frame. All around very solid and good quality.

Great product for the price point!
I was worried when I first order because some of the reviews had mentioned a strong smell or that some of the weights didn’t arrive, but I didn’t experience any of those issues. The smell was not really there and didn’t smell up my house nor did I have to air them out, they all came as they should and are better quality than I thought. The stand is much sturdier than I had expedited as well, and all the handle grips are smooth and not spiky or sharp. Over all I’d say this is a very good starter set either a good weight range! Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Great product!
Very happy with these weights. The handles are comfortable and the end areas have a soft coating so if you bump yourself with them it’s not hard metal hitting you.

Good product smelt terrible
Super excited about these. Opened the package exactly what I ordered; however, the weights had a funky smell like moldy. Looking at the boxes they looked like they had gotten wet as some point. I had to sit the weights outside to air out for almost a month before I could actually use them.

Nice weight set
Some of the weights came a day later due to multiple packaging. The rack and weights are good quality. There was no smell or odor whatsoever that others have reported. Would recommend.

Missing items
Called customer care several times . Informed them a box of 4 dumbbells were missing and the screws for the stand .now don’t get me wrong the stand is made out of iron so that’s cool minus the missing screws and dumbbells are cool minus the missing 4 . I still have to pay the full price even though I don’t have ALL my money’s worth . I must say I’m not pleased with Amazon right now and it was sold and shipped from them . And just brush me off very disappointed with Amazon right now.

They are totally awesome! Very legitness! Sturdy and great quality, just if you have sucky grip good luck building the thingy cause it took me like an hour cause my grip is terrible. But that’s on me
