It is easy to install and to remove with 3 inch wood screws and a driver tool.
I like that it accepts ordinary 3 inch wood screws in lieu of security screws, that is very easy to install and to remove and that it is exceedingly strong. It is also inexpensive and does not require mounting brackets.

Makeshift Burglar bars
I purchased this for my bedroom window after my neighbors home was broken into through a rear window. It isn’t exactly a set burglar bars, but they are certainly better than having nothing. It will deter a would be thief long enough to make it worth having in all your windows. They are very easy to install, and easily adjustable for different window sizes. I’m gonna order another one in a couple weeks for another window. They’re advertised for keeping kids from opening and falling out of windows, so if you have small kids, I’d also recommend these. These bars actually stopped a ball that my nephew through from hitting and possibly breaking my window lol. Bonus perk!
