704-120 Molt Periosteal Elevator #9 Hollow Handle 9.5 mm Ultra Light

This is the best #9 periosteal I've ever used. The metal doesn't bend. It's very rigid. If you overstress it, it'll just break. This is actually a positive because it also means it'll hold a sharp edge longer and it does. This thing stays sharp unless you accidentally grind against it with a bur or something. Excellent price which makes it pain free to replace if needed too.

Periosteal elevators get used, a LOT. They don't last. The edges get destroyed and then they're not really a periosteal elevator anymore and become more of a periosteal ripper. This instrument is perfect in the sense that it's cheap, has an excellent grip, nice wide and light handle and it's super sharp. It's not made of the best metal there is but it will hold up as well as any periosteal I've used. Best part is that it doesn't hurt to replace the darn thing every few months if it gets all mucked up.

These are great! I wish I would have found these sooner, before I spent an arm and a leg on a brand name instrument that is exactly as same as these. They seem well made, have a nice weight to them, and have sharp tips, great for surgery! At this price point, I don’t know why you’d look elsewhere!
