Madagascar Dragon Tree - Dracaena marginata - 4" Pot - Easy to Grow House Plant

I've ordered quite a few plants over the past year through the mail and this one by far is the best package I've seen, demonstrating above-and-beyond care to ensure it arrives in great shape. Not a single bit of loose soil and zero damage to the fronds which is a huge deal for this particular plant type. The plant arrived in gorgeous condition and very healthy, always a plus when getting direct-shipped plants. I'm thrilled with what I received and would do business with this supplier again in a heartbeat.

So, I was skeptical based on what I'd read in some of the reviews. But, MAN. I am very, very impressed.First, it's currently March 5th and I received my plant 3 days earlier than the earliest estimate. Shipping was so fast!Second, the packaging was actually perfect. I was a little surprised because it was a long, skinny box that wasn't marked as a live plant, so I had a feeling it would be a mess. I was wrong.It was packaged pretty snug with floating peanuts to keep the leaves/trunks of my plant stable, and the leaves look like they were folded in gently with care.The base/planter area was tightly wrapped with plastic and had several rubber bands to keep the soil intact, and it worked wonderfully. There was ZERO fall out, and the plant looks super healthy.The ONLY thing I would be aware of, is the plant obviously doesn't come in a planter. It comes in one of those flimsy plastic containers with lots of big holes on the bottom. Totally fine, just something to be aware of.I ended up re-potting mine immediately because the soil it was in was really cold (I live in the pacific northwest) and I wanted it to warm up faster, so I just did it.Overall, I give 5 out of 5. The plant showed up 100% flaw free, more beautiful than I imagined, and I've spent a LOT more money on plants in the mail than this for a plant that showed up completely dead, after I waited several days for it to even ship.I 10000% recommend buying this, if you are on the fence.I'm placing an order for another plant as we speak!

The spot I had for this plant is a few feet from a window and it seems to be holding up well. I've ordered several plants via Amazon and this might seem like a strange complaint, but it's common t get more than one plant in the pot. I don't want to kill the extra plant, so I have to figure out where to place it. The second dragon plant is in a fairly dark spot and it seems to be doing well, too. However, I do find it somewhat stressful to get extra plants.

I pulled one star because some of the leaves were bent. I also bought the larger version of this plant, which arrived in better shape, though both plants are healthy. It has to be hard to ship these plants; the leaves are so delicate. The seller does a good job, except they use peanuts. The thing is, you get a pretty tall plant and it's a treat to receive a healthy plant in this pandemic. (Pretty soon I may be talking to my plants.)

The media could not be loaded. This is not what was in the picture. I'm sure it was just a mistake and I'm not really mad about it. It is a nice plant, and I'm surprised that the soil was so moist that it seemed it was just watered, after taking a week and a half to get here. Still, it is not was I orderedIs there any way I can just get the tree in the picture 😵

I got this plant on Dec. 8th. about 1 week early. It is gorgeous! It was packed in a long, skinny box and the pot was wrapped in plastic so none of the soil escaped, even when dropped by our mailman more than once. When we opened it and checked the moistness in the pot, it was perfect. Looks just like the picture. I just have to keep it looking as great until I give it to my sister for Christmas.I am going to get another one, I think.

Came fast, well packaged , and well cared for. Had a few water spots that left some burns but very minor. Generally speaking the plant came in great health and has been growing well. It was root bound when i got it which was perfect because i had intended on transferring it to a larger pot. Overall very happy with my purchase.

This came in a plastic seedling pot. It is pretty, though. Took a while to arrive but looks healthy.
