The Best Coral Glue

This frag glue is a great and durable product, I highly recommend it if you are new to reef tanks or an experienced reefer. The glue is an excellent value for the money, has quick dry times and an almost invisible appearance. While the instructions say you can use the glue underwater, I would recommend doing all the gluing on the frag plug before submerging it. The glue hardens at a decent pace and is very strong, however it would take a large amount to safely secure live rock, so I would look for a different solution for rockscaping. This larger size of glue works much better than trying to use super glue tubes, this is the glue you're looking for.Pro's:+Good Quality+Hardens Clear+Perfect for CoralCon's-Not for Rockscaping

Good reef Glue

This is a brand name reef glue that does its job and finally my turbo snails aren’t taking out my corals!

Good Product

Product holds up well and seems to grip coral quickly when you glue it. Do need to put cap on as sometimes the glue just keep coming out and can get the cap glued on and hard to get off. I store mine with the cap upwards to keep the cap from being stuck. Glue does dry white-ish so you can see it but not too terribly.Though keep tabs of your fingers as if you get it on your fingers it can dry and be quite the annoying struggle to get off.

Gel is much easier to use. This is basic super glue that’s priced differently

I have several reef tanks and frag often. This stuff is on the runny side and if you read the ingredients, it is the same exact thing as super glue or surgical glue. Because it’s runny, it clogs up pretty fast unlike the gels. Also, DO NOT use teeth to unclog the tip of the glue. I tried this and for some reason squeezed the tube while doing. So and got a mouthful of super glue. Quite unpleasant on the tongue and teeth. BUYER BEWARE! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Easier to apply but weaker than others

I gave this glue 3 stars because while it IS easier to apply than typical super glue (due to its Elmers glue-like consistency) it has a less reliable initial bond and overall seems weaker than typical cryanoacrylate. Whatever process Seachem used to make this glue so thick seems to have diluted it in the process. I used this glue to bond two pieces of driftwood for a freshwater tank and it was an incredibly messy and frustrating experience after having to re-apply so many times. I even tried the hobbyist trick of putting tissue paper or a cotton ball in between the pieces and saturating it with the glue but couldn’t because the glue is too thick. If you’ve never tried that before, try saturating a piece of toilet paper or cotton ball with super glue and it will start to smoke due to a chemical reaction. This is a great way to bond odd-shaped hard scape pieces together, however as mentioned it can’t be done with this glue due to it’s thick consistency. Ultimately the glue did work after a while but for my next project I’ll likely try a different glue.

Used this for years!

This glue works great for all reef safe tanks, haven’t had any issues with any moving corals would recommend if you’re tired of putting your hands in your fish tank

Excellent aquarium glue

This glue is a must have if you are setting up or maintaining a salt water coral tank. It is quick drying and a long lasting glue. With that being said it is also easy to remove if you need to rearrange coral in your tank. The only issue is that after using the glue you have to take a pin or needle and clean the nozzle out if you want to continue to use the nozzle otherwise the left over glue from dispensing dries and leaves the nozzle clogged. This is just an extra step but overall the best glue I've used.
