Love this, good for keeping thread from being knotted while sewing.I don’t hold this against the item, but never I mean NEVER let a cat or dog ANYWHERE NEAR the thread you put this on.My cat LITERALLY tried to EAT my needle and thread- I was lucky enough to catch her and she had already ate all of the string, and the NEEDLE WAS POKING OUT OF HER MOUTH.Im so happy and lucky to not have to eat the needle and die. She’s literally my baby and I would’ve been absolutely devastated.So if you have a cat or dog, NEVER leave any string that has this product on it anywhere near where your pets go. (For cats definitely put it away where they FOR SURE can’t reach)

I came late to knowing about using bees wax on thread for hand sewing. Wow - what a difference it makes. It helps keep the thread from tangling so your thread glides smoothly through the fabric. Fritz is a long standing, quality maker of sewing notions. It says it's for quilting but you can use it for any hand sewing or craft products. Just don't put it on your thread in your sewing machine! The case is well made. Highly recommended.

I run the embroidery thread, 2 ply, thru' device 3/4 x when using bugle beads (w/seed beads at each end to prevent bugle sharp ends from cutting thru' the thread). I hope it keeps beads on fabric I'm wearing & to which I've given "gusto"!

I’m not sure if this helps with my thread getting tangled or not. I like the holder and it’s easy to pass the thread through. I accidentally left this in my car in direct sunlight for several hours and was surprised the wax did not melt. I would buy this again.

I was having issues with my floss twisting and not laying straight. It was very frustrating because I would have to lift my pattern out of my lap stand to have the tread unwind. I researched a bit and learned that beeswax can solve this issue.So I purchased this product. I am so pleased with this product! I love the holder it comes in, it makes it very easy to run your floss through and not get to much on your floss. Its really bad to get to much as it can mess with the color of your thread. Basically if you see the wax on the thread it is too much wax. This little holder has prevented all that mess and frustration. Both too much wax,and it keeps my floss from getting frayed or twisted.

I am a beginner trying a bead weaving for the first time. This wax is great for ease of moving thread through the beads. I do not recommend this though, if you are a beginner. If you have to remove the thread from any beads, the wax will sometimes come off the thread onto the beads if it went on too thick or you have to remove it from too many beads.
