Hartmann Luggage Tweed Legend Underseat Carry On Spinner, Natural Tweed

This is an awesome little bag. I have a 15 year old set of the wheeled Hartmann tweed, so I was thinking it might be time to get new luggage. Hartmann has great quality and mine still looks good after all the years of heavy travel, so I decided to keep my old set and add a couple of new pieces. This little underseat bag was my first purchase and I am so happy I got it. I usually check my suitcase, but carry a tote with things like jewelry, electronics, and cosmetics. It can get pretty heavy on those long concourses so having spinner wheels is great. This little bag is surprisingly roomy and has enough pockets to neatly organize everything that I carry. It has a padded sleeve for a tablet and an integrated USB port! The tweed is attractive and durable and the leather trim gives it an upscale look. It's a bonus that the bag will fit under the seat since overhead space is getting more and more chancy. I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a small bag, but now can say it's a quality piece of luggage and worth it.

This is a very sexy piece of luggage. I originally planned to buy the large checked luggage to compliment this piece but changed my mind after seeing some frequent complaints on those pieces. Nonetheless I still considered keeping this piece for functionality reasons.I carry two laptops and was looking for something that fits under the seat. Keep in mind that this doesn't fit under the seat of all airlines; one such example is United. The inside laptop slot can fit a 15' macbook in the side pocket however the main pocket just barely fit my 15.X, 4k screen PC, which measures approximately 14" X 9" X 0.75". The snap won't close over it though. Thats not the biggest deal because the top of the bag near the zipper should function as a buffer to hold the laptop in place.I would have kept this piece but I was worried about paying such a high price for a piece of luggage that does not have a lifetime guarantee. Since this is a carry-on it lowers the chance of being broken by baggage handlers however there is always that 25% chance that your flight may be fully-booked to the point where the airline takes your bag at the gate because theres no more overhead room (on a plane where the underseat size doesn't accommodate this bag). In the event the wheels or pull handles were to break (a complaint I've seen frequently on the larger Hartmann pieces) you'd be SOL. However if you predominantly fly first class this should not be a problem. I removed one star ONLY b/c of the warranty.If it were half the price on a flash sale I definitely would have kept it and taken the risk.

Very small suitcase but holds enough for a 2-3 day trip. I packed 4 days worth of underwear, a dress, slip, boots, an extra pair of shoes, a sweater, and an airplane pillow in this suitcase. It doesn't weigh much and fits in every overhead compartment on every plane I flew in including one prop plane. Easy to maneuver or carry. I'm very happy with this suitcase.

I am so happy with this piece of luggage by Hartmann!! From the tweed fabric to the leather trim, this is classy! Ample room for three to five days if you pack carefully.

Typical Hartmann quality! Lots of storage spaces. Great for flying.

Sturdy and quite useful!!

I simply love this bag - I use it daily to transport all the stuff that folks in higher ed transport. I have used Hartmann luggage for decades, my first purchased in the mid 80s which I still use. It looks great and the wheels make for very easy maneuvering. I usually carry several books, a small laptop, class folders, an umbrella and lunch in a very organized fashion. This bag is well worth the money and fits under the seat or over head on a plane easily.
