Product is a good design and works well for our purpose. During initial installation, it appeared the installation screw had gathered rust quickly. Closer examination showed the "rust" to be residue left over from the installation. I am amending my review as it was originally lower when I thought the screw had rusted.A quick note on installation. This stop requires 2 holes. Place the stop where you want it and mark it on the ground. Drill the first hole where the hole for the screw is in the flat portion. Assemble the stop and place the "fixing" screw in the hole you just drilled. Reorient the stop within your marked circle and use the same hole in the flat portion to mark the second hole. Worked like a champ and made installation a breeze.

Anchored properly this stop does exactly what you need - stops a door from opening any further. Stands up to kids and dogs throwing doors open without wrecking the door's lower hinge.

These are beautiful low profile stops with non marking bumper. However they don't always work on carpets as they sink and are too short. I solved this with a 1/2" plywood spacer and they work perfectly. I would buy them again.

Works great on one of my doors, but it's too short for the other doors since they have a larger gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so I will need a different kind of doorstop for those. I like that it mounts to the floor and won't get bent or broken like stick-style door stops.

I installed this on my front door as my washer and dryer were right behind it. This little doorstop protects my appliances from being hit. The door stop works great and was easy to install.

This product has withstood the test of high traffic, unfavorable conditions, and several months of use with no wear.I used this product by directly anchoring it to a concrete walkway (where it is exposed to the elements in Florida including heat, flooding downpours, and even some corrosive salty air), in order to stop a screen door leading to my front porch from banging into landscaping pavers. The door leads directly to the house, and it has probably hit the doorstop literally thousands of times.I went outside to take a peak at it again while typing this. It looks exactly the same as the day I drilled the hole into the walkway. What more can I ask for?

it installs easily, seems to be about the right size, but the included screw is really too long, so I replaced with a shorter one. Most of the force is applied to the peg. If this was used in a school and the door slammed a few times a day, I would use the bigger screw.

This product swings around since it’s only connected with one screw. I don’t know what’s the purpose if the door just bangs in randomly since it keeps spinning around.
