I have made two e-cig mods with this box and still get compliments. The box is a beautiful green and holds up well (it has been dropped a few times and so far no noticeable chips or scratches)A little painters tape on the box before I drilled the holes made the holes look like they came with it. they didn't mess up the coating and helped a little in containing the metal shavings.There is plenty of room for the black dual 18650 battery sleds without having to do all of the trimming or modifications to them. If you have the 3d printed battery sleds there is even more room.That being said it still has a tilt when sitting upright like all of the Hammond boxes, but will still sit up. I wont go into the measurements because they are listed, however I will say that I can fit it in the pocket of my jeans with out any problem.The green momentary switch I ordered with it also matched the box very well.

its a box. Just kidding i'll get a little more in depth than that. It's a Hammond so you know it's good quality. The paint from the factory is really thin and easy to scratch. Make sure you hit it with a few coats of clear before you handle it. I use them to build my box mods. I have a mod i built with a Hammond 1590BB thats been through hell and back. It's covered in scratches and chips from being dropped, kicked, stepped on, ran over, and more. Yet the box itself is still structurally sound. I could repaint it, but why hide it's story.

Solid casting but yet the aluminum is just soft enough for easy drilling and cutting.Worked great and looked professional for my build project.

I used this in a record button project. It looks great and has some weight to keep it down on the desk.

These boxes are well made and easy to drill for all sorts of projects. I use them for guitar effects pedals. For what they are, I do have to say they are somewhat pricey, especially considering they are made in Taiwan. Still overall a good, solid product that gets the job done.

I bought this for a custom ecigarette mod box project I'm working on. This size enclosure holds 3 of the 26650 size li-ion batteries just perfect, with room for wiring and space at the top for my 510 connector, fire button, and circuitry. Can't wait to get this project completed.

Sturdy tough case for my footswitch. Colour spot on and good tough finish. It would be an improvement to add stick on rubber feet.

Solid construction, nice colour

This aluminium box is red and nice. I like it a lot. It helpfully houses circuitry and other electronic shenanigans. I bought two of them! So far it is the only stomp box enclosure I've purchased but it does the job superbly.
