The Ford Model A Car: Construction - Operation - Repair

I really liked reading the book that was written in 1929 when the Model A was only a year old. Written in the way people talked in that era. Good illustrations and the book covers all aspects of driving, maintaining, and repairing the Model A.

Great book about the model a. A lot of knowledge is being lost on these cars. This book retains it. Great photos this will tell you about all the mechanics. Tear down the engine,The rear end,The transmission The front end. It will guide you. Its like a owners manual and shop manual combined. Definitely more than i was expecting a whopping 545 pages!! Originally written in 1929 Then reprinted and they didn't leave out anything. Why don't they write books like this anymore with all the details? This is a must have if you own an original model a or wanting to learn how and why they worked like they did. Get your money out and buy this you wont be disappointed.

This book was good, but not as good as:The Ford model a mechanic handbook.Both were good, the second one had better pictures than this one.

It was a Christmas gift for a friend and he enjoyed it.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he said it was okay but it is really stiff and thick and doesn't stay open. We chose to return it. I spent a little more money on the Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook by Les Andrews and he loves it! It is spiral bound and has everything he needs to work on his 1931 Model A

This is a “must have” book for the Model A restorer!

Arrived quickly. No damage. The book is fine, but it doesn’t contain a lot of useful information. Nice colored photos of different models, but that’s about it nothing special.
