Great jacket
Fits a bit large like most Carhartt products, so keep that in mind if you don't like loose fitting clothes getting snagged on everything. The sleeves are particularly baggy. It's fairly warm, and with just a decent long sleeve shirt it keeps me tolerably warm down to about 40F. It's class 3 so any inspectors or safety guys can't complain your top half isn't visible enough. The hood is large enough to fit over top of even a fully brimmed hardhat, although I just wear it under the hat (the large hood does have the side effect of looking kind of excessively large when worn without a hard hat). The zipper seems to be the same nice durable one used on the classic Carhartt duck/canvas jackets, with its large, easily grabbable pull tab (good for gloves). The interior pocket is large enough to fit a normal pocket notepad with minimal fuss getting it in or out.Only nitpicks would be that it's pretty expensive so if you're into dirty work that quickly turns high-vis not high-vis (concrete, painting, etc) its probably not the best choice unless you really need class 3. The interior is also lined with a terribly uncomfortable netting, which while I'm sure its pretty durable, feels horrible against skin. So a long sleeve shirt under it is highly recommended.

Excellent
Very satisfied with this coat. It's not too hot or too cold, and works well with additional layers underneath, if needed. I don’t really like the waterproof coats because they don’t breathe as well and I get hotter sooner. This one is merely water repellent, which is as much as I need most of the time, even in Portland Oregon. With a cheap windbreaker underneath, I stay as dry as I need and, with a heated vest as well (Milwaukee M12), I stay as warm as I need, too. It’s a bit roomy, but that’s perfect for adding sub-layers as needed. Good value for the money.

Hubby loved it
Bought this for my husband for Xmas. The ones his work gives him wear out so quickly, plus the reflective steps only last so long with washing. Fit was perfect & so was price.

Great Quality.
These are the warmest coats. I buy them for my employees and it gets pretty cold in the fall and they say there great. Holds up great my husband wears one every day.

Hood is useless and way too big. Designed to fit over a hard hat
It’s a very nice coat as usual when I buy a Carhartt. The only problem with this coat is the hood. It’s useless as it’s way too big and would never fit a human head. The hood on this jacket is designed to fit over a hard hat.

Very much worth the buy
Really nice sweatshirt. I'm an arborist and all my clothing gets destroyed usually within one winter season but this sweatshirt still looks new as this winter is coming to an end. It will last me several winters. It's warm and not too bulky. Price is very reasonable and well worth it based on the durability of the sweatshirt!

Great with some issues
This is my second one of these. The first lasted 10 years before the reflective material started to fade. The new one is just as great. Warm but not hot. Sizing runs a little big. I like a little baggy so went with 2xl. Xl would have been perfect. Side note, the hood is three times larger than your head. I guess it would be great it your wearing a Toboggan, ear muffs and a hat at the same time. But that being said when this one wears out I will purchase another.

Not as warm as expected
Husband is a trucker in Canada. Likes to wear layers so we bought 1 size larger but it was already a larger fit than expected. Not nearly as warm as expected. When it says lined it means a single layer of mesh inside the hoodie. It adds no warmth layer

Your paying for the Carheart
I liked how warm and how the fit was, I disliked how if you wear the sweater underneath a coat little balls of fluff appear.
