I love all these little metal boxes. There are obviously drawbacks, like someone can just run off with it, but they work well and serve their purpose. I'm sure they can withstand some fire, but I wouldn't count on it. It is pretty sturdy, looks like the rest of these same generic money boxes. Value for the money is usually on spot. So it looks decent, fair value, and the mechanism to open and close. (As long as you don't lose the key like I did and now I have to pick the lock every time I need in it. So I advise you don't lose them, haha.)I will say that there is a slight smell to it, I believe it's from the plastic tray. I haven't tried washing it, but that may help with some sort of degreaser.

Can't imagine anyone would be unhappy with this lockbox. I like that it's deeper than your typical Walmart lockboxes so it's got more internal storage space without taking up so much external space which matters to me mainly because I ride a motorcycle most of the time. The lock works flawlessly and the box itself is well made and looks nice also. If i absolutely had to give a con about it I would like more of a matte finish which is just a preference I wouldn't lessen my rating over. Honestly for 14 bucks I think it's great

This is a great little lockbox. It’s heavy duty, sturdy and feels secure. The key lock is great and looks difficult to break (unlike Vaultz brand boxes with flimsy locks and identical keys). It has some weight to it, especially when filled.I use this to store daily medication. This lock box meets my clinics requirements for a take home box to store my medicine.Most RX bottles from various pharmacies will not be able to stand up in this box. Only Walmart RX bottles with a FLAT lid -not the child safe type- will stand up in this box. Taller bottler will have to to side sideways because the box is only 3.5” tall max. Measurements from the lid is 6 1/4” tall by 7 3/4” wide. This box works well for homes with curious children, exploring teenagers, or anyone snooping; I feel safe having my medicine in here bc they can’t get the lock open or easily break the box without me hearing it.This box did come with a plastic tray for money, etc,. but I didn’t need it so I use it in a desk drawer to organize. For under $15 this lock box is a great deal.If you are looking for a take home box this is it. It holds plenty of bottles and is very secure. The lock isn’t easily broken. The key can be put in your key ring and not stand out. A Vaultz box from most stores is $15 which is absolutely ridiculous considering how poor the quality is, how easily you can break one, and all keys are the same!

If you've come across this product, you're clearly not interested in a fireproof or waterproof enclosure. Likewise, you're also not looking for an impenetrable strong box. Instead, you have happened upon a cute cash box. I selected the Kyodoled Medium Cash Box with Money Tray for a small retail operation that mostly deals with credit cards. After a little money went missing, it seemed like a good idea to come up with a basic theft deterrent.The Kyodoled cash box is made of pressed sheet metal, with what appears to be enamel paint. It can't be pried apart with your bare hands, but can be breached with basic tools, or even a well placed shoe (and a curb). That's not really the point, though. If what you're trying to do is prevent a theft of opportunity, this will do the trick. The design is pretty basic (pin hinges, for example), which helps to explain the low price, but the finishing is good. The paint quality was good on my example, and there are no sharp edges or burrs.As for the use of the box, the lid hinge is fine. The lock action is also acceptable. The chromed handle is probably the least refined part of the box. Some people will use the tray insert, but I prefer the box without it. The best thing about the box (for me), is that it's low-profile enough to fit in old desk drawers. Considering this box costs about what a large fast food meal costs, it's an amazing bargain and a great item. Recommended.

I decorated with stickers and looks amazing!! It works very well for what I needed it for. Measurements are spot on. If something is too close to the edges and is the same height as the borrom then it will have a problem locking shut. Otherwise I have no issues with this lock box.

It’s exactly what you order. A few very small dents, only matters if you care about the cosmetics, though barely visible unless you’re looking really close. It works well and is exactly what you’d expect.

The media could not be loaded. We might need the lock box for the same reason. It fits the bottles. I need it for a bottle that is used for medicine taken at home. If I have your attention, you will find this info useful. I’ve used and seen many lock boxes over the years; this one is sturdy. It won’t come unlocked if it’s locked. If you want a medium or small size lock box, check if the inside is the same as this and your answer is yes, it’ll hold them depending on the amount of bottles. The box I have is the large size and it will easily hold up to 30 bottles or more, standing up. You’ll be able to transport the bottle from point A to point B, and lock/unlock using 1 of the 2 keys. The lock works. So, if you need it for that reason, you should give yourself a pat on the back because you are taking care of your health. You’ll be able to store your bottles safely.I’ll need this box as the bottle number increases. I’m not sure if it is fire proof. It is thick enough for its purpose.*Reading reviews and seeing pictures helped but I wanted to uploaded a video recording for people searching for lock boxes. I found reviews helpful. I wasn’t sure how many bottles would fit and I purchased the large lock box. It functions as a locked box for money and it can hold folded letters too. You can store anything that will fit. I put a bottle in my review and pictures to help you find the right box.
