Nice for the price 👍
I really like this monopod and I would highly recommend it. This thing is super sturdy, lightweight enough to attach to the side of my small backpack on day hikes. I really enjoy the three footed base, as it makes it sturdy and easier to maneuver when shooting photos. Love how easy it is to make height adjustments. Get one for yourself and you will be impressed, especially for the low price.

So much functionality in such a relatively small, affordable package!
It's no secret that I love fluid heads, even for still photography. This is my first on a monopod and I thought I might be asking for too much. I'm happy to report that was not the case. I've been using this thing for the last two weeks every single day!Pros:Feet are sturdy and easy to deploy.Fluid head works really well and although ABS, looks to be very robust.Controls are exactly where they should be and work perfectly.Pivoting or locking base gives a lot of flexibility for positioning.Strap and foam cushion are "just right" for easy carrying.Very small, light, and priced great for all you get.Cons:I wish the control handle was either adjustable or a bit shorter.Feet require a bit of finger strain to close.Attachment is not Arca Swiss, but an adapter is a minor inconvenience. This monopod/head combination is a real value and I imagine it will become required kit for my wilderness shoots.

Variable stability
As has been commented, quality is good. Carry bag is nice but too small for the components.Using legs, you have to weight (literally) the tripod stability issue carefully. In full extension w/o human support, wind can kick this over with anything more than a smartphone.(Too bad the feet do not extend out laterally further for greater stability).Put your foot down on the base legs and it will support a small camera. At half heightno human assist, maybe a Sony RX100 or Fuji X100 is stable, but anything with a real lens will topple unless you offer your foot for support. Not a tripod but still a decent value.

Amazing Product!
This Product is amazing! I had a standard Tripod I was trying to use to record my son's football games from the stands. I knew it could work if nobody was sitting in front of me, but in a busy stadium, it would be problematic. I decided to look into monopods. I saw several expensive ones with the 3 for design Jay like this one for over $100 more than this product. When I came across this listing, I was hopeful. When I received it, I'll never buy anything else. This thing is rock solid! There is no play in the legs, so there's no shaking at all. This lets me put the pod in front of me between my legs and not get in anyone's way. If I need to stand up or move, I can just grab the handle. Super portable this way.

Broke on 1st use!!
Broke during 1st use! I thought this was a good deal until it fell apart during my first day of using it. It's in the trash now & I have to buy a new one... from a different company/brand.Advice: Spend the extra money to get a better quality item. I wouldn't want yours to break on the first day from only light use.

This is a really good little monopod. For the price it is a REALLY GOOD little monopod!
I needed something to support my GoPro + LCD Touch Bacpac + Housing + a Rhode Videomic Pro + a contraption I built to mount them all which includes a mini ball head (which ads quite a bit of weight by itself). It needed to be free standing, extend in to the 60" range, and still be packable in an international sized carryon. I bought this merely as a test, to see if a monopod with chicken-feet would do the trick, or if I would need to go with a tripod. Either way, I was sure I was going to have to drop at least a couple hundred dollars to get a solution that fit my needs. No need. This did the trick, and it did it very well!I opened up the box, mounted the rig, pulled open the feet, extended it to it's full height, set it on the carpeted floor next to me. Wha-la... It stayed upright! I jumped up and down next to it, just to see how stable it was. Low and behold... it stayed upright! Now, granted, at 60+ inches it sways a touch when you first set it up. It is not going to hold up to gail force winds, or somebody bumping it hard. And it is not going to support a DLSR with 3 1/2 pounds of glass hanging 8 inches off the front of it. But that is just plain physics folks...If you want something that will support a GPro, or a compact camera so you can capture some time-lapse photos or stationary video on the fly, I would highly recommend this little tripod. For it's intended purpose, there is no reason to spend more.

For light weight cameras only
You get what you pay for. It probably works well with cameras under 1lb. The legs are made from thin light weight aluminum and plastic; they extend to approx 8" in diameter. The legs are connected to a plastic base and lock in place using springs / pins. The construction looks and feels cheap. The tubes are made of thin light weight aluminum. The rotating locks seem functional but maybe weak. The monopod can be released to allow for leaning while on the base and legs. The legs can also be detached so it can become a standard monopod if a 3/8" spike is purchased separately.Furthermore, I purchased a Sunwayfoto DT-01 tilting head and a newer indexed 360* panoramic panning clamp. This combo works really well with monopods. This monopod was supposed to replace my expensive 1.5lb carbon fiber tripod for overseas vacation travel. Unfortunately, it wasn't stable enough to support my 3.7lb DSLR on flat surface. The base is not wide enough nor strong enough. However, I think it would work well with smaller all-in-one travel cameras under 1lb. Over time, the tripod leg lock springs will fail and the base will probably crack.Eventually, I purchased a Sirui P-326 Carbon Fiber monopod and converted the Koolehoada to a standard monopod.
